Better Than Previous Volumes
Older books of Robert A M Stern projects had several flaws. Some pages had four small pictures in the center with large margins all around. What a waste. Some projects did not have enough coverage to really give a sense of the space. The floor maps did not have legends so the reader could decipher the use of different spaces. All of these flaws have been corrected in this volume, the latest on Stern's projects. And, the houses show a progression in design from earlier efforts.

Good but expensive source for shingle style afficianodess
Excellent but expensive book with the most photos of examples and details, of shingle style, as well as other work ( non-shingle style ) by the various architects of the Robert Stern firm.

Love Robert Stern but mostly shingled houses again
Robert Stern and RAMSA have and will be one on my absolute favorite artists in the extremely competitive, rewarding, and exhausting world of residential architecture. I love the work period. I just would love to see more of the examples other than the shingled style of the Hamptons.

Excellent Range of Projects and High Quality Publication
As an architect, this is a great book with interiors, exteriors, site plans and architectural plans included. It is inspiring, beautifully written, and gorgeous to look at. Love it.

A masterpiece
Without question this purchase and addition to my collection is my best this year. Many of the projects are well chronicled but the new pictures and plans make this a great purchase and addition to any library. Mr. Stern and his team continue to demonstrate why this firm is at the apex so many years after being founded. The Monacelli Press always exceeds expectations. Well done.

Old Designs
This book does not have anything remotely new or interesting. I love home design books and buy every new book that comes along, and this one is really bad.

Beautiful book of Beautiful architecture.
Another beautiful book about Stern's architecture. It is improved over his older books in that the photos are much larger. Some of the earlier ones had giant pages with one tiny little photo.I love the inclusion of the house plans, although some of them are so small that a magnifying glass is needed.

Beautiful Publication Profiling Awesome Projects
A beautiful publication. Much like a classic cocktail table book. If you enjoy Stern's work (and that of his firm's colleagues) then you'll likely love this giant format book. Makes a delightful present. I bought two. Kept one, gave one. Your gift recipient would likely like this too.
