Updated 10/07/2023 - I notified Republic of tea regarding my concerns. They sent a replacement tin of the same product. While the new item did improve in taste and consistency, I still felt the product lacked the flavor and body that I expected. I found that Numi’s Chocolate Pu-erh made a more robust and flavorful cup of tea.10/9/2022 - Republic of Tea makes some of the most original and best quality teas - hands down. However, my wife and I both tried a cup of this tea, and it was almost like drinking hot water…maybe only a slight hint of cinnamon. I don’t know if this was a bad batch, but I’m going to try and return it.

I have never tried a Pu-erh tea before, but a friend recommended this so I gave it a try and it is delicious! I opted for the "Cacao Cinnamon Pu-erh SuperDigest Tea" and am very pleased with the flavor. This tastes light and well balanced. It's not just two notes, Cacao and Cinnamon. I would describe it as energizing and refreshing, clean, and yes, earthy, but not in a zippy or fermented tasting kind of way. This does not have an obvious diuretic effect. I drink two cups every day after lunch and it just makes me feel good for the rest of the day; I don't get a slump in the afternoon like I did before I got this.

I went to an informative session where a dietitian was explaining about how our guts are the problem with all sorts of health issues and this tea helps with maintaining a healthy weight. I started drinking this tea twice a day and when I get a sweet craving. I never used cream in my before but started with this. An oat milk creamer with brown sugar cinnamon is best but any creamer you like will work. I drink this tea twice a day and have lost 10 lbs on 2 months. Highly recommended.

This is a good combination of what is best for your health. Comes in clean cans of pouches with no staples or strings to mess with just drop in warm to hot purified water. It blends fast and taste good. Good combination to add turmeric. Guess you could add bit more fresh loose turmeric for over all health benefits. This brand has dozen more different flavors, I love their berry green tea too
