Lots of good information
There is a lot to learn that is different than I already know about knitting.

Excellently written. Easily understood by a moderate knitter. Would highly recommend for the knitter looking for new challenge.

Some interesting, eye catching projects. *Must be able to read charts*
There are some really nice looking projects in this book, which is beautifully photographed. I often buy Japanese craft books as they seem to have a true design sensibility that I like. This book covers a wide range of technique. Even just swatching these designs could reward you with a variety of skills. It is important to note that these patterns are charted only, no written line by line instructions. That is very typical of Japanese needlework books.FYI: the “two color daisy stitch” which is featured in this book is about a hundred times easier to do in crochet. I’ve done both, they look nearly identical and I’ll never do the knit version again. This is a fun book and I like it quite a bit. The emphasis on swatching is very good advise. You are not going to want to tackle the 2 color snowflake blanket until you see if you even like double knitting.

Unique selection of patterns.
A fun book. Better than I was expecting. With some Unique stitches that are for different skill levels. Each stitch shows ways to apply them.

Kindle version lacks accessibility functions
Excellent content but the Kindle version contains what appear to be digital photographs of each print page. These can't be adjusted to fit the dimensions of the screen on your computer, tablet, or phone, so you have to manually move the pages up and down to view the content. There are no accessibility functions, such as the ability to change the typeface color and size, line spacing, and page margins; other typical Kindle functions are missing too, such as the dictionary and Wikipedia integrations, and ability to highlight text for future reference. None of this is mentioned in the Kindle description.

Not what I expected.
Small print. Just a bit of disappointment.
