Use this for when you start your seedlings!
This is going to be my go-to for when I start my seedlings each year going forward. This does a great job holding onto water as compared to the garden variety bagged seed starting mix that you get from a box store. All of my seeds that I have planted this year in this medium have thrived. The block that you get is a great size and you do not need to use a lot for when you start your seeds. The coco coir block does not have a smell and is not heavy at all. It does take a little bit of chipping away to break off pieces to use, but other than that it is a great product. Highly recommend this for anyone who is starting seeds for their flower or vegetable gardens.

High quality for gardening
Good soil amendment for gardening- particularly for starting seeds or using in pots. Breaks apart easily when left to soak for a bit in warm water. I go through a decent amount of this so I appreciate the value of the large bricks.

Works like a charm
Came in one big brick. Put it in a bucket and added water. No issues with it breaking apart. Super ease of use. Quality felt great and still have left overs for other plants.

Large volume!
I had ordered other brands earlier and didn’t notice this was one solid block instead of individual bricks! It was more challenging to rehydrate because I didn’t have a container big enough. My fault. But it is very good to work with and sure seemed to make more “soil.”

Holds moisture til your plant needs it.
Swells to much larger and becomes rather light and fluffy — takes a lot of water and some time to get to that stage though. I mixed it with raised planter box soil to use in my cedar boxes. Plants are doing well even in the heat.
