Good price for working alternator
Made in China but so is every thing else we buy. Works like it should and you don’t have to mess around with returning the core. The parts stores around me wanted up to twice as much as I payed for this one. No brainier!

Shipping problem
I had to get a replacement ad the first came in damaged. The second one that came in also had damage to the box but a leat that was it. So far my truck at least stays running now.

Inexpensive
My Ranger has 187000 miles on it. This replaced the original 1995 alternator. I drive less than 5k per year so was no sense in opting for a unit over double the cost of this one. A huge plus was no Core Charge for replacement.Easy to replace if you dont have AC. Works well with 14.1 volts running. As for durability, that remains to be seen. I havent put it under a hard load to see if it bogs down some. Pretty typical to have them drop under load at idle with such low amperage. Its what factory stock rated.

DOES NOT WORK UPON ARRIVAL
I bought this for my 96 Bronco build and just got it installed and it’s doesn’t put out any amperage. Dead alternator that’s outside the return window. Straight trash product. DO NOT BUY
