Heat Deflector, Plate Setter Pizza Stone, Smoking Stone for Large Big Green Egg Grill, Chargriller 18" Akorn Kamado, 18" Kamado Grill

This fit perfectly on my large Pianos ceramic grill. It is a great replacement.

I bought this to replace the two lava plates that came with my Vision grill. I used one for heat deflection, and the other for baking pizza. These lava plates are very brittle and did not last long. It took me a while to find a suitable replacement based on size, lessons learned, reviews, etc.The Broilmann heat plate is great for a couple of reasons:- It feels more solid and seems able to handle the heat better than the porous lava ones I previously had- By flipping the plate, it can serve both purposes on heat deflector or baking- I also discard additional parts that held the original plates, resulting in less cleaning and prep work- I also have additional space to add a pan of liquids between the plate and the grate when using for smoking

Was very happy the way it kept me from having hot spots on the grill. distributed heat more evenly.

Looks and performs just like the original one ( that got broken) and the replacement one ( that also got broken). Hopefully 3rd tines a charm. Lol

the deflector works well, but the company does not have the plate setter. I contacted the company and they offered a rebate for the plate setter, but it was not enough to cover the cost of buying one. Ultimately, I decided to keep the deflector and take the discount. The company customer service was very good, 5 stars, however, I do not like that they are advertising and selling a product which is not accurate.I gave 3 stars as a review.

Fit my Vision ceramic grill Worked nicely for indirect heat.

I have really enjoyed using it for different cooks. Works great when I smoked a brisket , pork ribs and pork butt.

It fits perfectly in my medium big green egg, but unfortunately it’s missing the handle witch is why I bought it, I saw the reviews and thought they’d start sending them or take away the photo down showing it with the handle, unfortunately not, but it does fit so can’t complain to much.
