Kickers Astralbis Women's Lace Up Leather Boots

So, I noted that many thoughts these ran large, and ordered the 40/EU size instead of 41 - which is for a 9.5/US which is consistently my size. I find them o.k. for length but no room in the toe. I am debating about keeping them, as it feels like any socks would make it that much more snug, or that I would wear the sock away at the toe... I can't tell yet if these shoes would have more give over time. While some remarked on the quality of the leather as being excellent, I do not find that to be the case, but only find the leather average, and the leather lined interior very thin. The sole is rubber, as solid formed piece, and I wonder about how durable that will be over time as well. I don't particularly care for the newer addition of side zippers to all laced boots - AT ALL - and find it ruins the line of the boot, but do not find it irritating to the ankle in this boot. What is missing is any form of cushion in the footbed, and there is no arch at all. Now, that isn't always a problem when the fit of the boot hugs the foot, but the missing arch on this boot is noticeable, and is needed, for my best fit. Finally, I don't know if these are oiled leather or not, and whether or not they are intended to be water resistant in any way, but the tacky feeling of the leather is not pleasant and I wonder if it will wear off. This all being said, the price for a leather boot at under $35 was too little to pass up, and they do look good on, and the height of the heel is perfect... I guess I will give them a try and decide next week about the return or not!

I've been looking for ages for lace-up high ankle boots that aren't too massive-looking. Like other commenters, I don't understand the addition of a zipper to lace-up boots, but the other features of these boots met my criteria, so I decided to give them a try.The boots are indeed leather lined with leather -- extremely rare at any price point these days (these shoes are about $150 elsewhere). The manufacturing quality is okay, definitely better made than most shoes are now but not top-of-the-line. I prefer rubber soles; these are comfortable and the heel height quite walkable.I take an 8 Narrow shoe and am picky about the fit. I can't wear most B or medium widths, but these were fine. I would say they run a little long and narrow.There is not much support in the shoe and no cushioning in the inner sole but, wearing a medium-weight sock, I found them comfortable even so. (I may add a foam inner sole.)Because the shaft is relatively tall, I found when I walked, it rubbed up against my lower left calf. It will take a bit of fiddling with the laces or breaking in to soften the leather.

I so wish these shoes weren't discontinued.I ordered two pair from Amazon. These in black, in my size, which were very slightly too snug. And another pair on ebay, because I am so pleased with them.I had been looking for a great pair of boots for, literally, fifteen years. I found them in these Kickers.

No complain at he quality, I order size 38 because they do not have half size. I am a perfect size 7 us, so this would be a little big on me.But it feel like a whole size bigger. So I will say this does run like a 1/2 bigger. With with this, I will keep, to wear with thick socks for cold day.

Nicely constructed all leather shoe. Had to return size 7 as they were a full size too long. Comfortable width (medium) but even thick socks would not have helped. Suggestion: order at least a half size down.

After reading reviews, I ordered the same boots but in size 36 M EU/5 B(M) US. Unfortunately, even without insoles they were too narrow. I reordered in size 37 M EU/6 B(M) US. They are bigger than expected and there isn't arch support but with insoles they are perfect. The rubber sole is great because it makes for quieter walking. Good quality leather shoes for $35.99 AND free shipping: AMAZING!

I need to bring additional shoes because this is not a wise choices for walking.
