SidiMen's Sneakers Shoes, 47 EU

I rarely write reviews but I wanted to explain my experience with this product, hopefully to help others.If you are reading this, then you probably have very wide feet like me. That's the attraction of the "Mega" version.When I first first put these on, I was pleasantly surprised how roomy the toe box was. Lots of wiggle room! The shoe leather did not bind the front of my feet tightly, as do most (regular width) shoes. I was very optimistic.But after wearing it around the house for an hour, I started to realize that this was not going to work. The inside 1/4 of both big toes were off the edge of the shoe platform. It was starting to annoy me just to walk around. I know that if I were wearing these while pedaling hard, this would start to hurt.I realized then that this "wide" shoe is actually not wide. The bottom platform (where your feet touch the ground) is not wide at all. What gives the impression of "wide" is simply that there is more leather attached to the bottom platform. I started reading more about this topic online, and one author said this type of shoe is "high volume", not "wide". That makes perfect sense to me.I will be returning this pair and looking for a genuinely wide riding shoes.I must say I was impressed with the general appearance and craftsmanship of Sidi -- it is a beautiful product. I so wish this was something that would work for me. I am confident that I am making the right decision to return it, at least for the degree of wide feet that I have.

I am happy to report that these shoes are legitimately sized for wide footed individuals.Shoe shopping for me is always a nightmare. Nike "extra wide" rated shoes still require either significant break-in or a stretcher... My dress shoes? Forget it, custom made. Ski boots? Custom Technicas.Amazingly these shoes fit better than I could have your for and are very comfortable. The combination of two velcro straps and an upper BOA system make getting a snug, perfect fit simple They seem well built and I expect them to hold up well... I've taken them on a couple 20 mile does add well as on an exercise and they've been great. The installation of some Shimano SPD cleats are easy and are very stable.Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

These fit my EEE feet! Nothing else came close. Excellent value. They are super stiff and not much for walking in but for riding/pedalling they are great!

I had an old pair of Sidi bike shoes (maybe 10 years old) that finally wore out and I needed a new pair. It took me a while to find where I could find bike shoes in the same size again (47 wide) which was my trusted fit. That was important in these days of the pandemic where you can't try on shoes in a bricks and mortar store. I was able to find the needed size, they came on time, and fit perfectly.

Pulled these out of the box, expecting them to be too narrow. WRONG. I ordered size 15, wide, and well, I received size 15, wide. Perfect fit. Yeah, a tad expensive, but these FIT! Looking forward to putting some SPD cleats on and cruising into the desert (SE AZ) on my Santa Cruz TallBoy CC.

This is my first set of SIDI shoes; the purchase was a recommendation of a friend. He deserves a beer now.Quite comfortable fit, great quality!This will be my go to brand going forward!

Shoes were a little big. Shipper charged me a $48 restocking fee and charged me for return postage.

I have been searching for a shoe that fit. The mega was the answer. Try it you will like it.
