My favorite drinking water filter ever!
I’ve been using this cool little filter for about three years, and I hope the company continues to make it for many years. I live in an apartment so I can’t install a full house water filter, but I don’t like using the plastic pitcher filtering systems (because they’re plastic!). It sits nicely on the top of my glass refrigerator pitchers while I filter tap water through it. It’s a little difficult to separate the two sections in order to change the filter and to wash it, but it’s worth the trouble. My filtered water tastes delicious - and no plastic taste!

I love this system
I love this system. I love it so much that even if/when I get a little frustrated with the time that it takes to filter through, I just take a breath and let it flow. (Hat tip to Dave Mason.) That said, I have found that if I shake it a bit in all directions prior to filtering, the granules loosen up and it flows again very nicely.

Easy solution to stinky tap water
For years we've used the Brita pitcher filter to eliminate the chemical taste and smell of our household tap water. And for years we've cursed the nasty plastic Brita pitchers with their flimsy flaps and difficult-to-clean crevices, and the paradox of filtering water into a plastic vessel. The EveryDrop system, while not perfect, solves a lot of those problems. The best part about EveryDrop is that you can filter water into any pitcher, coffeemaker, or other vessel you wish -- even directly into your drinking glass. And it filters FAST. When the the filter is new, the water flows through almost unhindered. As it nears the end of its life, the flow diminishes somewhat. (Which is sort of reassuring because it seems to indicate that the filter's being clogged with gunk it pulled from your water over the past couple months.)The filter removes all traces of the chlorine odor and taste from our tap water, and it does it for the two month life of each filter. Taste and odor filtration is really all I need the filter to do, and it does an excellent job of it. However, if you have other suspicious or unwholesome compounds you'd like filtered from your water, I think this might not be the filter for you, and you should look for something more heavy-duty. (That's where Brita has the advantage.)The EveryDrop is also compact and very easy to clean, and small enough to stick in your suitcase or backpack for trips. The only downside (which is fairly minor) is that replacing the filter in the device can be a little tricky until you get the hang of it. But that's by no means a deal-killer.Cheers!

Just average
Good for removing the odor, and taste of chlorine from tap water, would like to see the company include a way to actually remove chlorine and fluoride.

Slow filters, terrible customer service
I've been using this system for several years. Usually it works as expected. On several occasions a brand new filter has just barely let the water trickle through. I've just dealt with the slow ones, until recently when I contacted Whirlpool customer support. A month ago, a brand new filter barely let any water trickle through. I waited a few days to see if it would improve, but it did not. I contacted Whirlpool and the customer service rep I spoke with could not have been more disinterested. Then I left a message on their Facebook page. Three days later I received a reply to the message. I was told they were "looking into the situation" of poor customer service. After that, there has been nothing else from them. I generally like the Everydrop filter, but I'm giving it 1 star because of their very poor customer service. I'm thinking of finding a different water purifying system. Too bad, because I find it convenient.

Cool, Clear Water...
Water in our community is so chlorinated that most hold their noses when drinking from the tap. The Drop filter allows you to quickly filter the tap water to use in tea, coffee and just filling our grandkids water bottles removing any foul taste or smell. We've been using these filters since first advertised and take with us when traveling. Wouldn't leave home without it.

Not sure why, but there was sand/powder grains all over the package.. like one of the filters busted open.. could not find any tears in packaging though.

Does the job
These water filters are easy to use, have a small storage footprint and convenient. I use filtered water for coffee, pets, drinking, cooking, etc. I have been using these filters for several years now.
