This is a very smart tool! Unlike most of these grabbers that have two bent arms, this one has one that is straighter, and slightly longer. As a result, it makes picking things up SO MUCH EASIER!I have a heavy dresser and armoire that are virtually impossible for me to move by myself. Of course, these are the two pieces that I have dropped items beside or behind and can not reach without moving the furniture. I went straight in and was able to get all the small items that had been dropped over the last year with no problem at all!I purchased this product in exchange for an honest review. This review is based upon my actual experience with the product!

I am disappointed with this grabber.For what it cost, I thought I was gettting something nice.It's made with a grabber part on one side and a shoe horn on the other side. The two sides don't meet well and overlap and stick. You have to pull it apart before your next use.I don't like it at all.Just my opinion....Gloria Moyers

I've had arthritis since I was 18. I'm 36 now. I've literally had it half of my life and it's getting harder and harder to bend over and pick things up.I saw someone use one of these things on a TV show and started looking around on Amazon to purchase one for myself.I came across this one available at a discount in exchange for my honest review and received it just a few days later.When I opened the package I immediately became concerned because the jaws don't align and don't come together all the way which means picking up thin things like sheets of paper would be impossible.It also doesn't seem to be very durable. I'm afraid either the clutch mechanism will break or the plastic jaws will break with prolonged use.The grabber is definitely useful and extremely helpful. My back appreciates having it very much.I'm just not so sure this is a long term solution, which is a shame because surprisingly there weren't that many to choose from and from the pictures this one doesn't look like it's made any worse than the others.I'll update this review if/when the grabber breaks.Until then, I'll enjoy using it. Carefully. And for most, but not all things I need to pick up off the ground.

This is very light weight with a pretty long reach. Trigger makes it very easy to use, and is slim lines so it will hang or store easily. I'm pretty short in stature. So this is super handy to use to reach in my kitchen cabinets, snf the shelves in my pantry.
