My daughter typically sets in the back of my truck where she has her monitors on the headrest so when I recently replaced my media Center with one from Alpine I realized I had to buy a remote control this remote control is a one-size-fits-all for all the Alpine units I believe because it has switches for external DVDs and it even has one for the navigation on the media Center the GPS haven't even tried to figure out how to make that part of the remote work but as far as the audio part working it works fantastic you can change channels on the radio you can change tracks on the CD or chapters on a DVD it's easy to use has a backlight it's a little bigger than I would've liked for our vehicle which is the only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars but I really do recommend it if you have an Alpine stereo system and you've installed in a van with external monitors

Alpine Remote
Works beautifully in my vehicle with XM and Bluetooth audio features. I recommend it for those who can't see the little labels on the receivers themselves.

This remote has a very poor signal.
Like I said this remote has a very poor signal. You literally have to hold it inches from the head unit to get it to work. Also I has very and I mean very little control over the unit. You can only change songs and volume not much else. A waste of money. I do regret buying this.
