Carlsbro CSD130 Electronic Drum Set with Realistic Kick Pedal

I am very pleased so far with this drum kit. Everyone needs to remember the price of this kit..... 300 bucks! Dont expect miracles. For the price, you are getting some features that are not on similar kits in this price range. One is the Midi outputs, another is the usb connection. The look and feel of this kit is far better than expected. The pads have a nice rubber padding, smooth and silky feel, better than some of those sticky pads ive played on before. I love the compact-portability of these drums. So simple and easy to set up-tear down, that I cant believe I didnt go this route decades ago. Nothing worse than loading-unloading a big acoustic kit and hardware,mic placement, sound checks. With this electric kit, I litteraly fit the whole thing in one half of the back seat of a corrolla!. As far as sounds go, it is what iit is. You can customize 10 of your own kits which is cool. It also has a sensitivity feature that makes it feel - sound more realistic. I am using this kit to play live in the very near future, and have no doubt it will perform great. I plan on purchasing a second one of these to have as a backup, because for the price of a Roland TD4pk, you can have 2 of these. The only negative, is you have to assemble the kick pedal with the trigger unit. It is more of an adjustment issue with the beater,other than that, im very happy so far.

The only thing that was negative about this purchase was that it came damaged. More or less by the way it was handled while it was being shipped. Rather than return it I was able to repair it my self. I was just the stand. None of the drum parts were affected. This a a great starter piece for the beginner as like my self. I very satisfied for what I got for a great price. Over all hi highly recommend this set. On the other hand when seeking information if there were replacement parts from Carlsbro directly from their website. I got no answer. Very disappointed and recommend not purchasing this brand at all.

The media could not be loaded.  Love this kit! well worth the money for all that it does. all the pads are individually programmable with basic parameters and the sampled sounds are great. You can use the preset kits, or set up your own kit and save 10 of these "user kits". for me, one of the best features is how small of space it takes. I record in a large closet and this is able to fit right next to me at the computer. all the boom arms that hold the pads are adjustable in height and angle so it can be set up for whatever limited space requirements you have. I am not a trained drummer, but watched a few YouTube videos and could lay down basic drum tracks in a few days. quite fun. Excellent customer service. my main "brain" processing unit arrived defective in that it would not save user kits, so I contacted Carlsbro customer service via email with a short vid on the situation and they FedEx'd me a new one. In the world of on-line purchasing good customer service is a HUGE plus in my book. Cheers.

For the money, it's a great kit. I'm genuinely impressed by the sound quality and the build quality of the pads. The hardware is pretty solid, too.If I had one complaint, it's that when setting custom kits, this unit does not save the volume level that you have set for individual pads. It remembers your trigger voicings, but frustratingly the volumes will all be reset to default when you power off.

For the price this is a solid kit. I think the best thing about it is the frame. It doesn't wobble when you're playing and the pedals seem as good as $500+ kits. Internal sounds will get the job done but although stereo, there isn't much separation. I usually record drum parts with other drum kits in my recording software. This kit controls them just fine.

67 years old. Too young to die. Too old to rock and rock and roll! I think not. I haven't played a set in over 35 years ago. I was not expecting much,but this inexpensive drum kit with a lot better sound and ease of use, surpassed my expectations.My only concern is what will last longer the drums or me!Assembly quick and quality good! Bang for your bucks, makes me "Wanna bang on my drums all day"

I've only had this drum kit for a week, and I can't use it. The snare and kick drums cut out randomly, the snare does it as frequently as every 30 seconds at times. The crash symbol and toms play randomly on their own. The sounds get crossed occasionally. None of the screws stay tightened, so I'm constantly repositioning the pads. And several of the screws have been stripped (an easy fix, but still frustrating for it to happen so quickly, especially with all the other problems). It's pretty much unplayable.

It took a while to put this together, not being a drum player and buying because my son has shown interest. Since it took so long, it was remarkably disappointing to plug it in and realize the kick drum wasn’t working. We tried everything and straight out of the box it didn’t work. Today, a little over a year from purchase, the snare isn’t working. Very disappointed about paying money for something that doesn’t work like it should.
