This kettle feels very well made, it is a great size (yields around 4 generous cups), and it's decorations/paint are very pleasant. The handle is stiff to move (doesn't flop about) and feels well connected to the kettle. I do not use this to boil water, just to brew, because I like the temperature accuracy of my electric kettle too much, but I'm sure it is great for boiling also. Only negative I have really, is the black coating on the lid is quite noticeably glossy, much more glossy than the kettle is. So it doesn't quite match perfectly. I assume it is because they treat the paint separately on the kettle and lid, either way I wish it was a more uniform look. Overall I am happy with this purchase and use it daily.

This teapot is absolutely beautiful however if you are the only tea drinker in your household like I am a more convenient teapot maybe needed. This teapot is more of a serving teapot in which you would put the boiling water in once it's done. When I purchased it I was under the impression it could be used on the oven and it cannot. So if your purpose is to make just yourself a cup of tea I would probably pass but the teapot itself is stunning.

Looked for something unique to place on wood stove for humidity if needed. Smaller than what I thought, have used to make tea as water is always hot and ready to go. Very cute, thought unique - as I haven't seen anything like it - until yesterday at Marshall's for 24.99.Also if bought to use on a kitchen stove top, I'd use only with gas stove top.

I've been wanting a good cast iron teapot for a while and this one is great. I have noticed, though, it needs to be filled with very hot, boiling water (at a rapid boil) and to the full or the tea comes out really weak). So, this one is great if you want to serve a large number of people, like 4 cups or more. Yet it is still a small teapot. I recommend it. :)

I love this teapot! It is a little smaller than i wanted and the black was out of stock, so four stars- perfect for brewing gingeroot tea.

I purchased this in black and it’s beautiful, I too thought you could use it to boil water, but found out your not suppose to use on an open flame, I have a gas stove.Also what really was disappointing, I was in a store and they had this and another color for only 24.99. That’s a REALLY big difference in price. I couldn’t return cause I disposed the box it was in.

Beautiful pot for sure. The colors are vibrant, the weight reassuring. However I purchased this based on the description that it could be used to boil water on a stove top. First thing when I opened it...it says do not use on stove top. So it's pretty but not practical for a single person who only makes one tea cup at a time. I will sadly be returning.
