Western Safety Face Shield with Flip-up Visor

To protect against droplets (i.e. people coughing on you) in today's COVID-19 world, I purchased this face shield rather than disposable medical ones. The shield is clear and transparent ,but I freaked out when it arrived because it was not transparent on arrival (green instead). It turned out that it was just was covered in a protective green plastic on both sides. The seller was EXTREMELY NiCE about this on the phone when I called in a state of distress. "Just peel off the plastic on both sides." All is well! So: i'm 5'2" ; it fits fine, maybe slightly large but you can adjust the elastic strap in the back.. Very light weight.

The shield on this product is not clear at all but blurry. It totally useless if I can't see through it. I purchased this to keep the flux fumes out of my face as I soldered my stained glass, which can be very detailed work, but I can't even see what I'm working on. The design itself was comfortable but if you can't see through the face shield, what's the point? These photos were taken without the protective plastic sheet that came on the shield. Didn't improve it much.

So i got this pre COVID19..I am a dental hygienist and had recently got cosmetic work done so i needed to protect broken skin from aerosols. Its lighter than some other designs and the shield is very sturdy. Ive seen sone flimsy ones out there. The only issue is that if you have oily skin it rides up unless you pull it past your brows...

Thank you so much for providing these and for getting them to me several states away, thank you to the driversat UPS for working all night and all day around the clock so I could give them to my health care workers.They are lightweight but sturdy and the shield flips up. And the price is fair, no price gouging here.Very comfortable. No helmet style which would be too hot to wear for long periods of time.Thank you JTB Commodities. Affordable. Protects and works very well. I’m going to add padding around the band that rests against my forehead. For Short term it’s perfect - however - I’m using this for work ALL DAY ( dental ) I do start to feel pressure after a while if wearing it as low as possible right above the eyes. Regardless, right now I’m thrilled to have this if it means I’m safer. Thank God for this product !!! Don’t hesitate buying !! Shipping was so fast ! Great construction and material ! For the price, this is a great deal. Luckily I read the reviews about removing the protective cover on both sides before trying to use it. After that, I could see clearly. It fits very well, and I should be able to get a few uses out of this (after cleaning). I would buy this again.

I was totally disappointed when I received the product expecting like in the picture. I had ordered one before with exact same picture from a different seller and got what I ordered but this one was different. The part around the head that is yellow in the picture, I did not get it. I got white shield and a band as if it's filler for the one I have and that's is inaccurate from the description and the picture.

I bought 3 one for each h member of my family. Well let's see on the first day before putting it on one of the 3 mask broke. I paid alot for shipping because it was I guess very requested item because of coronavirus. So fast delivery was essential to me. Waste of money it literally broke before trying it on.
