Excellent product. IMHO, please disregard any negative reviews.
I am writing this review because I just noticed there are some negative reviews. I am irritated that there are negative reviews because I have found that this is an excellent product! I have used it many times. It's much better that permanent dyes which do not fade. The color starts off beautiful, but after about 8 weeks will be more subdued. I'm GLAD the color fades after 8 weeks because by that time I have some 100% grey roots showing. Because the color has faded, there is no harsh line between 100% grey and 100% colored.I think people have given this bad reviews because they are not following the directions. Yes, I will admit, it is not a 5 minute process. I recommend you experiment and come up with your own routine.I actually don't heat up the wetted product, but simply apply to my hair. I then cover my hair with plastic bag. Then a towel. Pin it in place because it may be up to 2 hours. Using this method takes longer, but the color lasts longer. I don't mind having it on my head for 2 hours. I just watch a movie or something.Don't leave on too long. For example on my fine hair, leaving it on longer than 2 hours (NO heat) will produce too much of a reddish tint.Does not smell great. It smells like weeds, which is fine with me because I am thrilled that is made of natural ingredients. Smell is not strong and goes away of course.I am so glad I "know" this product. I recommend it to people all the time - especially great if your hair is starting to grey. But even if your hair is not going grey, try it because the color is rich, doesn't end up monochrome, and it makes your hair shiny.

WARNING: NOT AS LISTED!
This in reguards to the Logana "Henna Black".The ingredients listed for this product do not indicate that THIS product- "Henna Black" - does not contain these ingredients. It lists THIS as the ingredients for Henna Black:Algin, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil,* Parfum (Essential Oils), [+/Lawsonia Inermis (Henna)*, Cassia Auriculata (Cassia), Juglans Regia (Walnut Shell Powder), Indigofera Tinctoria (Indigo Leaves), Indigofera Argentea (Indigo Leaves), Hibiscus Sabdariffa (Sudanese Tea), Rheum Undulatum (Rhubarb Root), Krameria Triandra (Rhatany Root), Coffea Arabica (Coffee), Curcuma Longa (Curcuma Root), Beta Vulgaris (Beet Root)]I have used many of these ingredients in their whole form to darken my hair before. So i know that these ingredients will darken my hair naturally. I have bought most of these ingredients on their own and made my own mixtures of them. I was excited to buy this product because it appeared to do all the measuring and mixing for me. With some added hair conditioners.THIS IS NOT WHAT I RECIEVED.The ingredients on this Lagona "Henna Black" are :Indigo, Hydrolized wheat protein, Jojoba oil, Algin, Parfum.Thats it.THE ONLY DYING INGREDIENT IS INDIGO. There isnt even any Henna in this formula despite it being named "Henna" Black.Indigo is a natural blue/green dye. It will only dye blue and green tints.I can buy indigo on its own for way cheaper than this product.I will not use this alone because used alone it will only impart a blue or green tint to the hair. I will have to now just blend it in with all the other ingredients that SHOULD have been in it because they were LISTED as being in it. So i basically just bought some really expensive indigo.Also- the box states there is only enough for shoulder length hair. Another thing that should be added to the listing.THis was so disapointing and infuriating.Sellers- take freaking care in listing your products so you dont waste everybodies freaking time.

Logona herbal hair color powder "natural brown" is the best hair color that I have ever used
Logona herbal hair color powder "natural brown" is the best hair color that I have ever used! Before I describe why, I want to say "Don't waste your time or money on the Logona creme color. It is expensive at $27 a tube, it is wimpy, does not color well, don't believe the hype. That is what I first tried several months ago, very disappointing. Then I tried the powder color mahogany, ended up with very orange hair. My hair stylist told me "on his honor" that my hair looked terrible! He could not go to bed that night unless he told me the truth. My husband said after I took off my hair turban "my wife has bright orange hair!" in utter horror. So a complete wasted day which we don't have many in life. So then I tried mixing 0.5 package of mahogany with 0.5 pkg of natural brown powder wanting to get less red, more brown; still ended up with more orange at the roots. This is how my hair looks today. My plan is to try 0.75 pkg of nat'l brown mixed with 0.25 pkg of mahogany, hopefully to get the color that I want, only putting the color on the roots. The reason I don't use only nat'l brown is because I don't want dark brown hair. I want brown with a hint of red, but a prettier shade of red, not orange, but only a hint which seems like a struggle to get "just the right color" for me. That was my natural color when I was younger in my 20's, yes true! About the color process, yes it takes a whole day to do with the prep, cleanup, wait time, etc. But I have always been a do-it-yourselfer. The night before I measure 1.3 cups of water with one or two black tea bags, put in the microwave, boil, then cover & leave over night to steep, ending up with a dark brew in the am. I wash my hair either the day before or that morning, & do not use any conditioner at all. The directions for preparing the henna mixture if followed exactly, will give a perfect consistency for applying to the hair. I heat up the tea before mixing with the henna. I have very long shoulder length hair that is thick & curly, except for some hair loss in the front. To do my roots only, takes one box' worth of color. I section my hair with pins as per instructions, applying the color from the back neckline upwards, doing the front last. I use my fingers with gloves to apply. I put on the plastic cap, then cover with a turban, leave on for 2 hours, which seems like the max time, then rinse, shampoo. I give the color 4 stars because of the difficulty of getting the color just right, the color chart is not that helpful. The good points: the product is not tested on animals; there is no ammonia or peroxide; the ingredients are all natural & herbal; it really is not as messy or smelly as regular henna; the price is fantastic at $14.50 or so; it leaves my hair more silky & in better condition, not drying like chemical colors. So "try it" but be willing to adjust things to get the result that you want.

prometía mucho
Vi este tinte en varios videos y parecía que funcionaría para mí que no tengo muchas canas. Los tintes químicos ni los considero una opción, y este por ser natural me interesó pero me llevé una decepción muy cara. No funciona, no cubre nada.

cant praise Logona colour enough - user for 8 years + READ END FOR HUGE TIP ON THIS NO 40
I wanted to write a review as I was puzzled when I saw negative reviews on the product; IT IS ABOLUTELY AMAZING - LOGONA HAIR COLOUR IS *THE BEST* HENNA PRODUCT IN MY OPINION ON THE MARKET!!!!I feel anything but a positive review is against henna 'in general', not logona. As with any henna product, you will 'play' with combinations until you find the combination that works for you.For reviews that say this colour 'orange' - with this 'no 40 - flame red' Logona colour, *i absolutely love it*; in fact the first time someone noticed i had coloured my hair and said how nice it looked was only after using 'mostly' (read on) this no 40 (i always use the no 30 'henna red'...read on why)HOWEVER.... ON ONLY the finer hair around the scalp edge OR grey hair (for me around the edge of my hairline of the face & temples only) this no 40 WILL for a few days appear a coppery orange colour; THIS DOES DIE DOWN ....if you read on the internet about Henna Colouring, this is common to a huge amount of henna products.HOWEVER, USERS TIP FOR 8 YEARS PLUSwith Logona Henna range of colours (I only use 30 & 40) use the no 30 Henna Red around your hair line where your hair meets your face, and anywhere you have grey (if you are all grey, i recomend only using the no 30) this avoids that temporary orange/red tinge (perhaps this is more lasting orangey for those with a lot of grey, I cant comment as I only have a little at 49 years old, lucky me!)then after selective use of no 30, use this fabulous flame red no 40 all over the body of the hair, so for me, thats everywhere apart from around my face where fine and grey hair exists, temples (bit of grey hair)result? a hugely more vibrant and alive colour as this no 40 IS MORE VIBRANT AND ALIVE and 'warm' colour than no 30; it really 'pops'; people comment on it and i notice a difference in the mirror too.general note re logona - it literally doubles my hair volume when i use it; whenever i use it, i wonder every time why i dont use it more often and literally my hair explodes in volume; i wash it out just with water thoroughly until the water runs as clear as possible; then, i use a really good (natural) conditioner; for me, i use one with Argan Oil in which i feel really brings the colour to life; by not using shampoo straight after, i have read the henna carrys on working, and using the conditioner seems to bring the remaining bits of colour and any remenants of colour out as you wash your conditioner out; i also sometimes when my hair needs its first wash after the logona colour, do a completely natural conditioner, leaving it on until i am sick of the drips !! (starts to drip more after approx 1/2 hour) advocado, egg, a natural oil like a nut oil, glercerine, all this really brings the colour out too with the shine of the hair.happy colouring!
