my chinese hei adjustable vac advance blew out after a year. Swapped it out with this one and its good to go again. The data sheet it comes with explains very well how much a turn of adjust makes

seems to work fine, .. set it mid-travel & fine tuned from there for 36 deg. max advance...

Perfect bolt on part for fine tuning
I installed this on a 1957 Chevy 210 with a 283 V8 and HEI distributor. The ability to adjust the vacuum advance was helpful in fine tuning the idle and overall performance.

Adjustment worthless - waste of time and money!
No matter how many turns I got full vacuum - had to mechanically limit vacuum which is no better than the stock can.

Chinese knockoff doesn't fit distributor!
It states that it fits a 1967 Pontiac GTO, only half right!. Had to drill and tap the distributor, as the outboard mounting screw is 1/2 inch away from the hole in the distributor. Shame on pertronics for you selling this Chinese junk!
