Chestnut Honey - 6kg - Origin from Spain - Homemade & 100% Pure - Intense Wood Aroma and Sweet Taste

I was surprised when I received this honey as it is advertised as being raw and unprocessed / unpasteurised. I am slightly unsure of its authenticity as I have not had a honey with such clarity and, as yet, no crystallisation at all. It is thick enough to remain on the spoon but runny enough for it to "pour" off if the spoon was tipped. That is the first time that I have had such a product be like that, some raw honeys have had to be chewed off the spoon before now...! Often with raw honey you will find other small particles in the jar, again due to the unprocessed nature of the honey, none seem to be here.The smell is very pleasant with a hint of a fermentation odour, not in an unpleasant way. That applies to both flavoursThe taste is very nice, not too sweet, which neither of us would like a sweet honey. It has a mild but distinctive taste with no bitter or strong after taste. The Oak honey as a more distinctive taste, again this one is not particularly sweet.The product came very well packaged and protected. It comes in a stout glass jar, fits well in our cupboard.Overall we both recommend this honey even though we are a little unsure of how authentic it is. We have bought a second jar of a RAW unprocessed Greek Oak honey and within that you will find the usual bits that you would associate with an unfiltered raw honey, with slight crystallisation but much more solid.This honey is noted as : RAW HONEY: Our honey has not been heated, neither processed nor pasteurized, resulting in the most natural honey, raw, crude honey.I have noted what the seller has written in the comments about how natural this product is. If you took away the one word "RAW" from the label and stuck it on a supermarket shelf it would blend in with the rest of the selections there. There seems nothing "crude" about it.It is just very different than we are typically used to when buying such honey.I have uploaded four photos, one showing the jar label. That one has a mixture of English and Spanish writing but you can see the word "RAW". The other shows how the honey pours off a spoon. The last two photos are related to the jar of the Oak honey, but I can't seem to do a separate review for that and so will need to combine that here.Our other choice from this supplier was a jar of their Oak honey, that is different and also enjoyable. That one is very very clear, almost processed like. And yet I'm reminded how this honey is advertised but the oak one in particular is very clear and "clean", free from the usual "extras" we associate with unprocessed and unfiltered RAW honey.Hope that this review has helped you.

5stars honey , absolutely delicious, surely a real , high quality honey as I am used with unpasteurised honey all my life ( from my country, Romania) and I can easily recognise a very good one.All my respect and appreciation to people working with the bees, our little helpers. As good as it gets. Retains natural rich flavour and is thick with partial crystallisation. Had been looking for a 'local' replacement for Manuka or Yemeni raw honey which is difficult to get here and this Spanish variety is a very good choice. Since we use raw honey everyday I am looking forward to trying out some more of their varieties. Would recommend to anyone who seeks and values raw honey.

Hello!!I like Holm oak raw honey very muchI'm Spanish myself, and I like your honey and all Spanish products that I can find in UK.I must tell you that the honey is of very good quality, and came properly in bubbles wraps, when I opened the parcel, lots of honey was out from the jar, and around, the wrapping bubbles wrap, I don't think it was fault from the delivery, the jar was not broken, but the jar top cover was dented on one side,and was not tightly close, and that was the problem, because the jar was not broken, I did not mind, and complain about it,but I think is better you know, to make sure that doesn't happen again.I like the use of the honey for the colds, lemon and hot water with honey,and enjoy it on toast, sweeten hot milk, and more.Thankyou for your excellent product.RegardsEsther

This is a wonderful product and as far as I'm concerned great value for the money . I have been a bit disappointed in various honey products I have tried recently but this has restored my faith in one of my favourite products and will buy again with confidence .

I love Honey with strong Flavor. My Favourite is Heather (Brezo in Spanish) or Chestnut (Castaña in Spanish)In the UK some supermarkets sell Italian Chestnut Honey but the flavour is very light not strong at all, small jar and expensive. I live in the Scottish Borders and surprise, surprise it's almost impossible to find around here Scottish Heather Honey, and when you do again small jars and expensive.When I was a child my mum used to put it on our bumps Heather Spanish honey to help to reduce the swallow it was the "Cantabria" version made by a family aunt. I remember the flavour which was stronger than the Scottish one, thick and dark colour. A flavour I'd never forget and very similar to the chestnut one.Thanks to Vidivi I can buy Big jars of honey at a reasonable price. I love it in my coffee, on the bread, on the cheese or in a yoghurt. My children and Husband do not like honey at all... guess what... I'm the only member of the family who rarely gets a cold or a cough.Vidivi has a very fast delivery and good quality products. My second order the jar arrived broken and without questioning it they organized a smooth return and I had my money back in no time. But that didn't put me off and I ordered more honey again. No doubt of it I just became this week a monthly customer. I consume 1kg or more of honey on my own each month and until now was hard and expensive to find the products in the Scottish Borders.Thanks,

La he devuelto mal empaquetados, venia en una bolsa de burbujas abierta, se ha desparramado por la juntas de la tapa, una miel liquida de mala calidad, si quieren hacer una prueba de calidad de la miel pongan una cucharada de miel en un vaso de agua, si la miel esta adulterada se va a disolver con el agua, si la miel tiene calidad se va a quedar pegada en la cuchara, no se como los comentarios dice que tiene calidad , es como cualquier miel de grandes superficies, cuando una miel no cristaliza es porque la han adulterado o la han cocido, según el vendedor es pura sin ningún tratamiento

El producto incluye un envase de mala calidad que, al no cerrar de manera hermética, provocó que el contenido llegase desparramado, cubriendo tanto el embalaje como el propio bote de miel.Mala experiencia. Artículo devuelto.

...ho assaggiato il miele di timo per la prima volta, attribuisco cinque stelle per queste ragioni. Il miele era accuratamente imballato, etichette del prodotto in spagnolo ed inglese. Non dichiarato biologico però grezzo. Il miele è molto fluido cosa che mi ha insospettito ma alla prova dell'acqua non si è sciolto subito; buon segno. L'ho sottoposto a tutte le altre prove che conosco per testare la qualità di un miele e devo dire che, a parte la veloce caduta dal cucchiaino a causa della fluiditezza notevole, tutto è andato bene; inoltre sta cominciando già a cristalizzare in superficie. Per addolcire latte o tisane è davvero piacevole con il suo sapore amabile, non intenso, un pò floreale. Il prezzo mi è sembrato buono per un prodotto non biologico rapportato alla quantità. Lo consiglio sì, valutando il rapporto qualità prezzo.Spero di aver scritto una buona recensione, poiché ormai troppo spesso si leggono su Amazon, in merito a certi prodotti fra cui gli alimentari, recensioni o troppo entusiastiche o oltremodo dispregiative senza un valido motivo; e soprattutto senza tener conto che ne va dell'attività di un venditore, e della fiducia di un acquirente.

Es la primera vez que compro esta marca de miel,me fié de las valoraciones de otros compradores y he acertado.Compro miel mensualmente y puedo afirmar que ésta es una miel de una gran pureza,con una textura agradable y un sabor que recuerda a tiempos pasados,donde los sabores eran genuinos.No le doy las 5 estrellas,porque,a mi entender y por comparación con el de la media de otras buenas mieles en el mercado nacional,encuentro que su precio es un poco elevado.

Leidder sind die grossen Honig-Vertreiber ausschliesslich auf Gewinn-Maximierung bedacht. Nennt man eben Kapitalismus - machmal auch brutal!. Das ist unsere globale Gesellschaft. Natürlich hatte ich bei Ihnen auch Bedenken hinsichtlich der geschilderten Qualtät. Jedochmit der von Ihnen gelieferten Honigqualität bin ich sehr zufrieden. Sie haben das was Sie versprochen haben auch gehalten. Für Ihre Ehrlichkeit ein grosses Lob und 5 Sterne. Honig ist einfach Spitze - Geschmack hervorragend.

Der Honig ist wunderbar aromatisch, hat eine perfekte Konsistenz und eine herrliche Farbe - so wie dunkler Bernstein. Da ich grundsätzlich Steineichenhonig liebe, wollte ich diesen aufgrund anderer guter Rezensionen einmal ausprobieren. Und es hat sich gelohnt! Geschmacklich wirklich toll, ich werde definitiv noch die anderen interessanten Sorten wie Lavendel, Rosmarin usw. ausprobieren und auf jeden Fall die Sorte Steineiche nachkaufen. Lieferung war schnell, alles ist heil angekommen und ein ausgesprochen netter Service. Absolut empfehlenswert.

A mi familia nos encanta la miel, y esta que compré de romero tiene un sabor suave que la hace muy agradable, su textura es perfecta la que se espera de una miel natural. La usamos sobre todo en épocas frías como es el otoño- invierno para evitar o paliar los resfriados y la de romero es ideal para los que somos más propensos a tener problemas en las vías respiratorias, así que sustituimos el azúcar por la miel que es mucho más sana y aprovechamos sus propiedades medicinales en café, infusiones, limonadas, en los postres y hasta sola...y ayer he barnizado con ella la tarta de cumpleaños de mi hija y estaba riquísima. La recomiendo, es una miel muy buena y en cuanto pueda compraré más.

La miel es de una calidad excelente. Su aroma y textura, nada que ver con las que he comprado anteriormente en grandes superficies. Si es verdad que su precio es algo alto, pero merece la pena pagar un poco más y tener la certeza que estás consumiendo un producto español 100% natural. Me llegó muy rápido y perfectamente embalado. Estoy muy satisfecha con la compra y sin duda volveré a repetir. Es vital que todos apoyemos a las empresas y productos de España.

Avevo provato il miele di mandorlo di un produttore italiano,purtroppo ripetere l'esperienza era impossibile visti i prezzi da gioielleria:questo miele spagnolo prometteva grandi qualità, ma potrebbe essere tranquillamente un millefiori...è un prodotto discreto, migliore di quello del supermercato, ma inferiore a quello che promette.

ein unglaublich leckerer Honig, den ich auf jeden Fall wiederkaufen werde. Unbedingte Kaufempfehlung. Es lohnt sich halt, für guten Honig etwas mehr Geld auszugeben ! unbedingte Kaufempfehlung. (Aber auf keinen Fall erhitzen, nicht damit kochen oder backen, auch nicht einem heißten Getränk zufügen. Sonst geht alles wertvolle kaputt. Nach Ayurveda wird er dann sogar schädlich, weil extrem schlackenbildend.)

Je donne la note maximum car ce miel est très bon, tout en étant à un prix relativement raisonnable.Mais je tiens surtout à saluer l'excellent professionnalisme du vendeur de VidiFood, Ruben, qui est très réactif en cas de problème (dans mon cas un pot cassé lors du transport).Cela fait plusieurs fois que je commande ce produit et j'en suis très satisfaite.

Nachdem ich verschiedentlich aus Griechenland, Rhodos, Thymian-Honige haben kommen lassen, nie so ganz dem Frieden traute, bin ich durch die hervorragende Qualität dieses Honigs aus Spanien endgültig auf den Geschmack gekommen. Nie wieder würde ich einen anderen Hersteller bevorzugen, mit diesem Honig bin ich sehr zufrieden. Wenn man den Deckel öffnet duftet die Küche nach Thymian, ohne lästig zu werden. Toll.Aber.... einen Wermutstropfen für die leichtsinnige Verpackung durch Amazon, Leute das ist G L A S.Ein Wunder, dass es noch zu keinem Bruch kam. Aber dafür könne die spanischen Produzenten ja nichts.

Muy cara para el producto que es. Igual que la de cualquier tienda de alimentación que tenga miel cruda, porque es un poco más densa que la de supermercados pero ni mucho menos es como las que he probado de granjas o de pueblos de la sierra que también he comprado varias veces .

Kaufe diesen Honig schon zum dritten oder vierten Mal. Er schmeckt süß, bereichernd und nahrhaft. Man muss sich sehr beherrschen nicht zu viel davon zu verzehren, wie auch bei den Blütenpollen von Vidi Food. Er ist sehr delikat. Jedes Mal wenn ich ihn esse schmeckt er einfach und er übertrifft meine impliziten Vorstellungen von wie ein Honig sein sollte I guess.Es ist eins dieser Produkte, bei denen man die andern Produkte des Herstellers nicht ausprobiert, weil dieses schon perfekt genug ist.
