Hagen Fluval Edge Replacement Power Filter

This part is the genuine replacement part for the Fluval Edge Fish tank and the same one that is delivered when you originally buy the tank.The filtering capabilities of the power filter are excellent and the design makes it easy to maintain.I did see some mixed messages of whether it came with filtering inserts or not. Mine did not arrive with filtering inserts as expected.

This is the same filter that came with my original Fluval six gallon tank. It is both quiet and reliable. They have a two year rating and the first one lasted three.Shipping was fast and the filter was well packaged. Everything works as it should and my tank is happy again.

This filter was a replacement for the one that went out on my Fluval 12 gallon tank. It fits exactly as expected and has great water flow, I didn't realize how slow the old one had gotten.

This is an ok filter for an ok setup. You need to clean the impeller every few months or it blows out.

Fits the Fluval Edge aquarium perfectly. It helps everything look fresh and new again without having to spend big $ on a whole new aquarium.

I like this pump. Completely silent. I find they last about 3 years. Took off one star because I really wish it was self priming!

Fairly certain the crack occurred when USPS threw the package in front of my door. Luckily, we really only needed the motor for the filter so we moved the new components to our old case and everything worked great.

Congratulations to Fluval for making such a piece of sh— equipment!! I am always nervous when cleaning out my tank coz I can guarantee this thing will stop working!! I only bought this around two months ago and it’s broken AGAIN. I’ve bought four of these so far. I regret having a fish tank...the up-keep for me with Fluval is just a nightmare. Not impressed at all.

If i could give negative I would. I purchased the filter as mine went U/S. The new filter arrived with the plug snapped. The bix had no damage thus it is only reasonable to assume this was bixed broke.I had to cut the wire and attach a plug to getvtge filter working to save the luge if my fish. I contacted the seeler to ask for a new filter, i would returm the unserviceable one upon receipt. This would ensure my fish remained alive.The stated i must return the item first then they would send a new one. The return could take 7 days, plus 2 days fir a replacement. 9 days with no filter would kill all my fish.This is a pet shop that has zero care for the welfare of animals. Avaiod and shop elsewhere.

Great quiet filter but the seller was the saving grace here - this arrived 3 days early around Christmas time and saved a tank full of fish so thank you!

little plastic adjuster delivered snapped off, looked like it had been boxed like this. I was able to use the old pipe, so no biggy, but if I was starting from scratch the item would be unusable as it left a hole in the pipe...

I’ve bought two of these now as it’s the quickest wait to obtain a pump and both times I’ve been disappointed. They are unacceptably noise, constant groaning and rattling even after a couple of weeks they still are very noisy. I will no longer be buying these and will probably have to buy a whole new filter system for my tank.
