Played this online during lockdown and loved it. So pleased to have the boxed game and to be gaming around a table again! We ordered the (cheaper) Italian version rather than the super-pricey English version as we already knew how to play! Easy to learn. Great to play!

The product arrived in good time and perfect order. unfortunately, contrary to the notes on the product page, it does not come with an English manual so I had to find and print one myself.While I may brave the odd Grazie when shopping on holiday my abilities in the Italian language falls woefully short when I have to figure out the intricacies of a worker placement game like Stone Age.That is really the only issue I had with the product and the only reason why I haven't scored it as five stars

I have been trying to purchase this game for months, everywhere is sold out and if you do happen to find an English/German one for sale the price tag is around £80!!!I was confused by the description on this one which includes the words 'travel edition' . To me travel edition means small, easy to pack in a suitcase, on your lap in a car sort of game. Do not be fooled by this wording it is the full size proper game, complete with leather cup and wood pieces - glad I took a chance.Yes, it is the Italian version but there is no wording on the game pieces so it doesn't matter to the play. The instructions are in Italian but there are plenty of you tube videos on how to play this game (which I prefer anyway) so did not see this as a problem.

The game is great and very well made, but contains Italian packaging and rules only. Descriptions states “Main Language(s) Italian manual, German manual, French manual, English manual, Spanish manual”.Very poor description and a falsely labeled product.

Had been playing Stone Age on-line (board game arena), and the actual, physical board game Stone Age did not disappoint. It's a person placement to get resources and cards to get VPs, probably an entry level game. We loved it. Fortunately, we are familiar with the game, and I know enough Italian to translate the Italian rules that came with the board game, but English rules are usually available on-line somewhere.

Having seen the price this goes for in the English version I thought I’d take the plunge and buy this. It’s actually better the the U.K. one. Went online for the rules and really love playing this at game night. Thumbs up

OK never mind.Stone Age is a classic and for good reason; as an introduction to the worker placement mechanism it has few rivals.There`s no complicated point scoring, it`s all very simple and straightforward: put your wooden workforce on various places around the board, roll some dice to collect resources, use those resources to buy the point-scoring tiles and cards. The tiles (huts) will score immediately and the cards score at the end by collecting sets of them. They also grant you an immediate bonus, and sometimes your opponents will get to share that bonus.Also, you`ll need to feed your workers (or not, if you know what I mean) to avoid losing resources and/or points. The graphics are fine, largely beige but have a pleasant cartoony look to them and the tiles and cards are of reasonable quality. The game on offer here is the Italian version, but you can download English rules from Boardgamegeek.
