I buy a LOT of collars and accidentally mixed this up with a small blue collar I bought recently. So I deleted that negative review to post this positive review. I bought this collar in 2022 and it has held up well and we still use it. I have several dogs in all sizes and ages. I got this collar so my old lab chow mix would be comfortable in his collar and I would have the security of him not getting away from me when scared of going to the vet. I really like these Martindale collars as they are safer than a regular collar that a dog can pull out of and they are more comfortable for the dog. I recommend this product.

Seems like a good, sturdy collar. They just run big so be aware of that. The measurements are for the collar in the tightest position, so make sure you add 3-4” to that before comparing it to the actual size of your dogs neck. My dog has a 14-15” neck, and the small fit her well.

I have a rescue dog that gets really anxious at times. This collar makes sure he can’t slip away from me if we walk in a park and he gets nervous. It adds a level of security knowing he can’t slip out of it and take off running.He either wears this or a really good harness and I feel better knowing he is safe. It’s held up for many walks so far and is in absolutely perfect condition and he loves wearing it. A medium was perfect for my 60lb boy.

I just got this collar today and decided to try it out. I have a 1 year old goldendoodle that weighs roughly 47 pounds but pulls like a horse. I have tried harnesses with the front clip, and a gentle leader. The harness is ok but he pulls really hard and he ends up with sore spots under his front legs and my shoulders take a brutal whooping. The gentle leader is really a great tool but he bucks, and scratches his face a lot trying to remove it, not to mention he foams at the mouth really bad while using it. So I figured this might be ok. Yes, it works good, easy to adjust, functions well. The only thing is, this thing is HUGE. I measured his neck at 14 inches, which would put him in the large range, I am glad I read the reviews, and ordered a medium. I was fretting thinking I ordered the wrong one, nope. I made it as small as it would go and he really could have used it a tiny bit smaller. It still works as it should. Definitely order at least a size down from measurement.

The size descriptions are deceiving and the loop (the main feature) is designed too long to make sense. We have a boxer with a pretty big neck, 18". So we chose the Large size (13"-20"), thinking that this refers to the adjustment range of the collar. However, it turns out that the shortest you can make it with the loop being "relaxed" is 20". When the loop tightens by pulling on the leash, the overall length can go down to 13". In other words, with a 18" neck, the collar hangs pretty loose even on the shortest setting, basically just held in place by the ears. When you pull on the leash (or the dog gets hung up!) it'll tighten just like a slip leash. Nothing "safer" or more comfortable about this one.

Essa coleira realmente é perfeita. Minha cachorra sempre conseguia fugir com outras coleiras e com essa ela não consegue mais. Ela é ótima pq não machuca e evita a fuga nos passeios onde minha cachorra se assustava com barulhos ou a presença de outros animais.

Got one for my Pit/Cane Corso pup to help with training around cats and while on walk and it did such a good job, I got a second one for my older Eurasier, who's long fur doesn't typically do well with collars.It doesn't pull his fur as much as leather collars and it did help with pulling around the neighbours dogs as well.Since I like the first one enough to get a second, I think it's easy to recommend. The price per unit is fair and the quality is better than some I've seen in store.

Tal cual bueno , bonito y barato , bueno igual y no regalado , pero buena calidad , a mi me gustan los martingale porque así puedo corregir a mi mascota sin ser uno de castigo , resistente con variedad de colores , y me encanto lo del clip para abrochar y desabrochar sin tener que estar corriendo las correas para hacerlo grande y chico cada que se lo quito /pongo.

Good quality and reliable. Easy to fit and easy to get on and off.It does not stop my dog pulling, but it does give a bit more control when it does pull, and it also removes any possibility of slipping out of it's collar.I bought the 3/4" Small and it fits my dog perfectly. My dog is the size of a small working lab or a large show springer spaniel.This is a good buy.

I am super happy after purchasing this one. The other brands in the name of martingale collar offered heavy weight with chains and I didn’t like it. If you are looking for a light weight, sturdy one and in every sense a true martingale collar which doesn’t hurt your dog, please go for this. Max, my german shepherd loved it.
