A good quality white fish. Is great in a fish pie.
A bag of 6 white fish fillets, with a total weight of 690g.The fish is, skinless and boneless Pollock.Caught in Alaskan waters.Pollock is a very neutral tasting white fish. Not as big and flaky as cod, but when battered, it's quite difficult for most people, to tell the difference. It is a certified MSC, sustainable seafood.I use mine in a fish pie, with some smoked haddock and some prawns.Chop up a leek and some mushrooms. Fry them off for a few minutes, then remove from the pan. Place a 1/3rd or 1/2 a pint of milk in the saucepan (depending on the size of your pie), and let it come to a simmering heat, then add in your thawed and chopped fish and your prawns. Leave to gently simmer for 10 minutes. Then remove the fish from the milk. Make a mixture of either ordinary flour or cornflour with a couple of tablespoons of water, then add this to the milk. Bring it to the boil, constantly stirring until the mixture is at a good thickness. Add in a generous helping of either fresh, or dried parsley and salt and pepper to your taste. Then add back in the fish and the leek/mushroom mix.Stir it all together, than pour into an ovenproof dish.Top with a layer of precooked mash potato, and if you're really feeling decadent, a sprinkling of a grated cheese of your choice.Place the dish in a medium heat oven (anywhere roughly around the 190c mark will be fine). Then bake for 20 minutes, until the cheese has melted and is starting to bubble, or until the potato ridges have started to brown. It's a really delicious pie, and you can substitute the vegetables, or the type of fish, for whatever you have lying around.I hope you found this review helpful.

Good Value and Tasty
Reasonably meaty fillets of white fish, great used in chowder, fish pies etc with a nice firm-ish texture and offering good value overall. I'm sure would also work well to be battered and fried but haven't tried as of yet. Would buy again.

Very healthy
I decided to cook those fishes on my own way because of the diet I follow I used healthy breadcrumbs, they taste very nice good size and are easy to cook, I definitely will buy them again and highly recommend.

Not the best taste but ok for budget fish
I recently purchased a pack of frozen white fish and was a little disappointed with the quality of the product. While the fish was easy to prepare and tasted fine, it was not as fresh as I had hoped and did not have the same texture and flavor as fresh fish. The packaging was also a little disappointing, as the fish was not well sealed and some of the pieces were stuck together. This made it difficult to separate the individual pieces and resulted in some waste.Despite these issues, the frozen white fish was still a decent product and was a convenient and affordable option for a quick meal. However, I would probably choose fresh fish over frozen in the future, as I prefer the taste and texture.Overall, I would give this frozen white fish a 3 star rating. It was a decent product, but not as good as fresh fish in my opinion.
