H2O expert impressed
I owned a successful marine aquarium service company for 15+ years and have been a reef tank hobbiest for more than 30 years. I know a lot about water quality, both for my reef tank water changes, and for my daily drinking water. I manufacture my aquarium water using RODI technology (reverse osmosis deionization), the only practical method for producing lab grade water with 0.0 TDS (Total Dissolved Solids). This takes constant digital testing of both my input city water and the output water after my filter. I am sure I have bored you to sleep but please WAKE Up. (In case you wonder why I don't simply drink the water from my RODI filter, one would need to add minerals back to it first before it would be safe to consume on any type of regular basis.) Now you know why I wanted a separate, dedicated Reverse Osmosis drinking water system for my family. After I Installed the Waterdrop Tankless Reverse Osmosis unit, (a very straight forward task that honestly should take the average person about 1/3rd the time of an old technology RO filter with pressurized water tank for drinking water), I was shocked to test the output water at the included metal faucet at a low TDS of just 3 PPM. My city water entering the Tankless system is currently at 140ppm. The fact that the Waterdrop system improves the water quality to only 3ppm without the use of dionization is AMAZING. Also, I turn on the filter and immediately test the water, thus there is no wait time required to let the water run before it is ready to drink. I have had my Tankless system running for months and it is rock solid at 3ppm. It is clean, delicious drinking water from an attractive, compact unit. I could not be more pleased.I also want to speak to the customer service I experienced. Unfortunately, after about 2 months of use, the 400GPD system would not turn on. I was really surprised when this occurred and emailed Waterdrop support without delay. Although I was well past the Amazon 30 day return period, the representative clearly cared about customer satisfaction and shipped me out a new, complete upgraded 600 GPD unit and a return postage paid shipping label for my original 400 GPD unit. He also sent me a free extra filter cartridge for the inconvenience I had experienced. I have had this replacement unit running for months without any issues. I would give Waterdrop 10 stars if it was allowed. Thanks for reading my lengthy, but honest review. Please buy a Waterdrop Tankless Reverse Osmosis filter, you will not be sorry you did!

Tankless RO water filter
RO water filter was a breeze to set up. The under sink design makes it easy to fit under the sink. The filters are supposed to last 6 months with normal use so crossing my fingerts because replacements are 140 dollars. The water pressure is pretty good considering there is no water tank, and it is making it as you pour. It makes 1 to 1 fresh water to wastewater, so you don't waste that much water making drinkable water making this a highly functionable RO water filter.

Great reverse osmosis
Very easy to install and use. Water flows well and the water savings vs a tank reverse osmosis is great. Doesn't take up a lot of space which gives us more under sink storage

Excellent Water Quality with Minor Drawbacks
I have to give the Waterdrop G2 Reverse Osmosis System 5 stars for the quality of drinking water it provides. Since installing this system, the difference between my tap water (California) and the RO water is unmistakable. The drinking water is exceptionally pure and has spoiled me to the point where I can’t go back to regular tap water. The installation process was straightforward and didn’t take too long. I watched a few YouTube videos and spent a couple of hours setting everything up. Once installed, the system has been running smoothly and efficiently. However, I am giving it 4 stars overall due to a few minor issues. After changing the filter, you need to run 3-5 gallons of water through the system before the water is ready for use. While I now use this water for my plants, it can be a bit inconvenient, especially if you are trying to conserve water. The continuous running required for this process makes it less environmentally friendly.Another drawback is the efficiency of the system. There is a significant amount of rejection water produced in the process of making clean water. This rejection water goes straight down the drain, which feels wasteful. While it’s possible to set up a system to collect this water for other uses, managing another container isn’t a priority for me given all my household tasks.Overall, despite these minor inconveniences, the quality of water and the ease of installation make the Waterdrop G2 Reverse Osmosis System a great investment. It has significantly improved the quality of my drinking water, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable RO system.
