Umbro Men's Checkered Shorts

I like the quality of the material. I use the shorts to lounge around the house.

Use these shorts for outdoor hose showers after sweaty, grimy, dirty yardwork in my extremely hot environment. Very good quality with excellent stitching. Works very well for this purpose.

Got the black beauty/white Men's Checkered Shorts, thinking they were like a pair that I got at the sporting goods store which are silver/gray, have mesh pockets, and vents.. They have the same pattern, but1. These are a bit tapered towards the leg opening from the butt, so they aren't "loose" around the things (they don't drape like basket ball shorts)2. The material is thicker and heavier than my other pair3. there is no vent at the side of the leg (doesn't matter, but might help id different types)4. the pockets are made out of the same material as the rest of the shortsThey are a bit cheaper than other umbro shorts, but the material feels heavier and thicker, which isn't what I prefer, and without the vent and mesh pockets, I get the feeling that these will get a bit sweaty/hot during a workout. Otherwise fine.

It was a Thursday afternoon. We were at happy hour at our favorite cantina and my husband began telling me how he always envied other kids in school who wore Umbro shorts—his family was too poor to buy them in the 90's—and he'd never know if they were any good because they aren't made anymore. Or... are they? I really thought carefully about this listing because I, like my husband, believed Umbros were no longer being made. It almost seemed like this could be a fake. But with the help of a $3 margarita, I bravely clicked "Buy Now" and here we are today. My sweet husband is living his childhood dream in these shorts and says "wow, I'm a cool kid now."

Fits just as I remembered as a kid but I've only worn them a few times and it appears one of the inner seams is starting to unravel. Nothing damaging to the shorts yet but something I'll need to keep a close eye on.

The shorts are fine and I found them as expected. However my first order of navy shorts came apart at the him on the left side under the pocket. This was a disappointment however it was too late to return so I just ordered another pair.If anything can be done about this please contact me. I paid for four pairs of Ambro nylon shorts but only got three top quality pairs.

While I am not a man, I did play soccer in college and began wearing Umbros MANY years ago. These are even better than the old ones with one square hip pocket, the new ones have two big side pockets! I love them so much for gardening, going to the pool, walking etc. that I will likely buy more in different colors!

I thought these shorts would be a tad thicker. Be prepared for the thinnest pair of shorts you've ever experienced if you purchase these. I honestly feel like I was robbed. $23 for paper-thin, game-ready shorts that can only be worn in extreme heat. Too expensive!

Love that these shorts are made of nylon. Bought both medium and small and both sizes fit good. The medium a bit more baggy but ended up keeping both. Usually I am either small or medium so fit seems fairly close.

I received the pair damaged at the waistband and now afraid to wash them, because they will fall apart if i do.
