Kaiser Springform Pan, Stainless Steel, Black, 26 cm

Apple or Rhubarb cake.

I really liked the lip to catch if anything leaked out…Nothing did. I had a Kaiser Spring Form Pan that was about 15 - 20 years old I made two Cheesecakes that day..I released the new pan first no problem…but, the older pan even though I had butter it….it was still a little hard to release. I threw the old one out and purchased a second new one. My Grandson likes my cheesecake so much that if I am making one for an event, I make a second to be sure he has some to take home.LOVE THIS PAN

I love the lip around the outside of this springform. Even if some butter escapes from the pan, it does not fall to the bottom of the oven and make a mess! It simply gets caught in the well around the pan. Excellent design. And easy clean up too!

Arrived dented from the Netherlands in the US (hence only 4 stars). Springform pan was in a thin display carton, shoved into a plastic (!) mailing bag. Luckily the dent is just above the (locking) rim, so it is still usable, but for the price, it is disappointing to get an already damaged item, when simply a sturdy box could have prevented that!...Other than that, it seems a good, sturdy WMF product, made in Germany. I have already used it a couple of times, with satisfactory results.Update: after reading some of the complaints about the inside coating peeling. With repeated usage, I am now concerned, that the dent will facilitate the deterioration of the inside finish of the Springform pan...time will only tell, I sure hope not....I definitely DO HAND wash/dry the pan carefully after each use.

the item is advertised as stainless steel. it is not. nowhere does it say stainless steel on the packaging (in English or in Deutsch). and it fails the magnet test. it seems to be a good springform pan, but it is not stainless steel.

I have another Kaiser pan that I bought over 30 years ago so I was a bit surprised when this one came and it was a lot lighter and thinner than my other one, which was smaller than the new one. However, it did the job beautifully without a hitch! Just wish it was as heavy as the old one!

Not stainless steel, only clasp hardware is stainless. It has a non-stick coating. Did not want a non-stick coating. The product description was not accurate. That said, the vendor of this item was quick to respond to my concerns, even stayed charitable dealing with my less than pleasant communications. The vendor bent over backwards to resolve the situation for me, and remained charitable throughout. I give the vendor 5-stars.

I have other, sturdier, Kaiser springform pans. I was disappointed in the quality of this particular item and will look for purchasing the higher end Kaiser pan.
