Great 6.0l powerstroke upgrade

Good upgrade for pre-2008 Torqshift - just remember to upgrade your pan as well so it will fit!
The stock screen and bypass filter seem to work fine on the early torqshift - mine has well north of 200k and still runs like a champ. But I figured if Ford decided to make a design improvement, why shouldn't I add it to mine retroactively? Especially since changing it requires removal of all of this anyway. Some people remove the original bypass filter entirely, I just changed it as well and left it as is. The new full-flow filter is deeper, which requires a new deeper pan. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000O0OUL6 . It bolts up quite easily and has a nice drain plug which makes future changes less messy (easier to drop an almost-empty pan than a full one). Just remember to add an extra quart for the deeper pan. Followup: Changed fluid again 35,000 miles later. The old fluid looked just as clean as the new fluid. I highly recommend this easy upgrade!

Oem filter
Works same as original transmission filter. Only thing there is a rubber seal on the tube that pressure fits into transmission make sure when removing old filter that the seal is still intact( old filter seal stayed in transmission had to manually remove it.) Before installing new filter

Genuine Ford part so it is what it is used on in the vehicle from the factory. So if it is good enough for the factory then it is as good as it should be.

Bought this with a 6.4 pan to upgrade the pan and filter on my 6.0. Works great. Easy to install. Way more filter area than my 6.0 filter.

Excellent upgrade for 6.0 diesel with automatic transmission.
Flushing my Ford 6.0 automatic transmission with Mercon SP fluid so decided to upgrade to 6.4 oil pan with better filter instead of a "screen". The filter appears to be a much better filter and it fits the oil pan well.
