Adds up to great
I don't like shaving and want to minimize the time spent doing it, and the Oneblade is the best solution I've found. I shave from 1 to 4 times per week. The Oneblade does a decent job with many different facial hair lengths. If you're okay with looking like you shaved 9 hours ago, instead of 9 minutes, you might love this device.Reading other reviews, and in my own experience, this doesn't give a close shave for many people and hair types. But this is easier than anything else I've tried, and hits a sweet spot for my purposes. It's a super functional tool, and I'm glad to have it.Pros:+Shave quality is good enough for me. For smoother - follow up with an un-powered razor (but after 2 days it's going to look about the same).+Inexpensive. Blades seem pricey, but I've been using the first one for 1.5 years, and I'll finally replace it.(It shaves a bit closer when sharp, but not enough to be worth replacing. And it's possible to cut yourself with a new blade.)+Fast! Takes about 5 minutes to shave 1 day or 1 month of growth.+Charge lasts for weeks of use.+Average on shaving comfort level.+Can use it without shaving cream and hot water.+Can get wet and cleans easily. After a bit of a learning curve, it gets better, you have to move it differently than some other shavers you may have used.It flings hair around more than some shavers, so hair bits get all around the sink and on the mirror. Two workarounds: get a makeup mirror and shave with your face close to the sink, or take the mirror outside to shave.Wishlist: Like most electric shavers, probably wouldn't survive many drops.

Great Device.
Reviewed by: Gloomgirl's HUSBANDI am a Guy in his 50s and have a shaved head and beard. I am retired and do not shave nearly as often as I used to.This razor is perfect for me. If I let my head/face hair grow a little I would have to use a large electric clipper (like they use in the Barber Shop) then a regular razor. What a hassle. No MORE.from my experience this razor can handle hair up to a half inch in length and give a close enough shave for a suit and tie. It also does not cut your skin. Something that happens often when shaving my head with a standard razor and shaving Cream. This requires no Shaving Cream and you can rinse the heads. The battery lasts for a long time. I have used it 5 times and its only gone down 1 bar out of 3. I have Gray/White hair. Gray hair is way courser than normal hair. It can really test a razor. This handles it no Problem.U can use this in and around your ears and close up under your nose, it is very versatile.I like this razor so much I bought 2 more for my sons. BUY THIS RAZOR.

Overpriced but still the best electric shaver I’ve used
I have super sensitive skin so I figured ga good electric razor with a close shave would save me the pain of an actual razor. And yes, it provides a nice close shave for an electric shaver and it prevents irritation and razor burn for me.BUT...Like others have stated, yes it feels very fragile. I haven’t thrown the packaging out yet because I does feel a little too delicate. Mine hasn’t broken and hopefully it won’t.The hair trimmer stand off or whatever it’s called feels cheap and tacky but I haven’t used it and I probably won’t so I can’t honestly speak to it’s quality. For its price I’d expect a carry case. But it doesn’t even come with a bag. For how much this costs I’d expect a quality hard case, especially with how “fragile” it is supposed to be.

I'm a traditional wet shaver and I approve of this product
Like most guys, I've had a long and storied journey with shaving. I started off with the traditional gillette mach 3s and 5s, went to electrics, went back to the cartridge stuff. In the past few years I've gotten into wet shaving using a safety razor (mine is a Feather stainless steel model), badger hair shave brush, shave soap, pre-shave cream, etc. That to me is the ideal way to shave, but it is time consuming. Sometimes you need to shave quickly and that is hardly advisable when using a safety razor.Enter the Philips OneBlade. This device charged up quickly, gave me a clean shave in minutes, and with zero irritation like previous electrics. Some people in the reviews are bemoaning the fact that it does not gave a baby bottom smooth shave (despite the manufacturer clearly stating this in its opening description). That to me is a benefit. I personally never want that smooth of a shave because it inevitably leads to nicks and cuts and probably premature aging of one's face. Even with a safety razor I only do one pass with the grain because that's than more good enough to look presentable and professional.Did I mention no razor burn? To recap, I had a quick, lovely shave, absent of any irritation with this razor and I strongly recommend it to those who don't have a fixation with a glass smooth skin. And I'm pretty sure such a fixation will lead to your skin looking like that of Goodfella's protagonist, Ray Liotta.
