Great little book
I loved reading this short little book on the Lord's Supper. Reading the writing and thoughts of the Puritans is always beautiful, insightful, and enlightening. This is a great little (yet in-depth) study on Communion.

a must read for all those who wish to partake of the Lord's Supper
There is no better source of truth then the Bible, but look at the type of people that the old Puritan writers were. Their education and dedication, as well as trials - God made them worthy servants! In today's shallow Christiandom you may trust these writings. May God Bless.

The Lord’s Supper
In this book, the author demonstrates to what regard the Puritans had for the Lord’s Supper. They were not merely Zwinglian/memorialists. By God’s grace they held to the Real Presence, although a spiritual one. Although I subscribe to the Lutheran view of the Lord’s Supper (namely that Christ is present in, with and under the bread and wine) we can rejoice that these godly men did not disregard the words of Christ when he spoke to his disciples “take, eat, this is my Body.”
