metal, the finish is good quality and no issues with threads coming loose .

I used this as a replacement ball mount in order to use an existing bracket. Very tight fit, albeit with minimal movement in the mount itself. If it was plastic, it would likely move around more. No complaints from me on that though, I prefer it like it is.

I used this to replace a different brand and is better.

Some complain that it doesn't come with hardware. That's silly. The beauty is you can get the hardware that fits your need. Silver or black. Long or short. I like this better than the 1/4 20 balls that have a fixed length. You can get this really tight with an Allen wrench. The others with a fixed screw come lose.

This 20mm aluminum ball works great, is made of excellent quality, and is compatible with other Tackform Enduro Series accessories. I have no complaints on the function - but man, do they charge a premium for this product - which is why I only gave it 3/5 stars total.

Great product, quality part. But, NO Hardware?! You’ve got to go buy a 6” ish long bolt and hope it fits cause it’s just a best guess. No instructions at all for install, just, there you go bud! Good luck!Part it’s self is great, but, they should include hardware
