Excellent joint support and warming, particularly for folks who lift heavy or have an achy joint.
I love this thing! I have never had a knee injury after years of squatting, but I decided to use these as a precautionary measure since I'm regularly repping quite heavy (for me) now on squats/deadlifts. This product provides a little support, but not so much that it creates a noticeable "spring" or lift-assistance. It may help me when I do a set of 20+ squats, but on weights for which I only do 8 or fewer reps, I see no increase in performance; only an increase in comfort. What I DO notice is that my knees no longer feels fatigued after really heavy lifts or after long training sessions. The sleeves effectively keep the joints warm and better optimizes blood flow (or so, I gather). They also afford a little stability to avoid/minimize deviation of the position of the knee. The sleeve is not tight, but it WILL tear at your leg hair unless you shave it, trim it, or use powder.I used to feel discouraged from really heavy lifts and long lifting sessions...but no longer.

Very good sleeves at a great price!
Great sleeves for the money. No these aren't the top tier sleeves and that's ok. I didn't pay top tier money for them either. These are a bear to get on if you don't research the easiest way to do it (inside out, and roll it up). I'm a big guy and the large fits my knee just fine. These things provide a nice amount of support and keep the knee really warm. I've found myself just wearing them for the majority of my workoutI've seen plenty of reviews talking about weakness in the seam and tearing, haven't experienced any of that yet but I haven't had them long, will check back in if I start to have any negative opinions about them. All in all, I feel like I got a great value.

GOOD
BE SURE TO ORDER THE SMALLER SIZE IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS. You want these TIGHT, TIGHT, TIGHT. They are SUPER HARD to get on because the rubber just doesn't slide against the skin as you are pulling them into place, and you'll be ripping any leg hair you have off every time you put these on. It's painful, but if you are man enough to need these, then you should be plenty man enough to take a little leg hair pulling, right? THE ARE WORTH THE PAIN to put on. I don't know of any better product in this category, even those that are double, triple, or four times the price. The primary wear that I'm seeing in my own pair, after about a month now, is from the effort pulling them up and on. You have to REALLY grip them and pull them HARD, and this is making the outer shell begin to separate from the rubber. I tried putting them on inside out, using the smoother side inside, but after sweating in them a couple times I think that this will make them wear out quicker, so I reverted back to right side out. Some people are putting powder onto their legs so that they slip on easier. That probably works great, I just haven't tried it yet. I would rather suffer for 30 seconds ripping hair than have baby powder on my legs. Just me.If you squat and NEED knee support, or even if you are a runner and need more stability and WARMTH, you can't do better than these TK's.

Don't waste your money!!
I bought these knee sleeves in February and the seam in the back busted in March. I was really surprised because the knee sleeves even fit loose. Save your money and buy a better quality brand. Apparently this item can only be refunded within one month of the purchase too, so it was very convenient that the seam busted open about one month and a week after the purchase date. I would not recommend these knee sleeves to anyone.

Great product for a great price! People complaining they are "cheap and tear" are not taking care of them properly!
This is my second pair of Tommy Kono knee braces. My first pair lasted about 5 years and finally tore enough that I couldn't repair them. As long as you are careful putting them on and taking them off, rinse them out a couple times a week, etc. they will last you a very long time. Over 5 years, I wore them 2-3 days a week for squatting, deadlift, strongman, clean and press, etc. My first pair were mediums, which made them a little more difficult to get on and probably contributed to my tearing them over time. I got large this time and am very happy with the support I am getting from them, and the go on much easier. If you read the company info you'll see they advertise that your knees will sweat, that is absolutely true!! Sweat will stream down your shins.

Good fit the 1st month.
This item worked really great for the 1st month. As of now the wraps are ripping behind the knee near the stitching. I will have to buy new ones but now concidering a different brand.

Be prepared to be HOT and rip out your hair!
Like I said be prepared to be HOT and rip out your hair! I prefer the Rehbands even though they are more expensive. These are just too hard to put on and warm up more than you need. They give support but as the stake of all your leg hair.

Perfect knee sleeves
My first knee sleeves; used them once and they appear to be superb. The material thickness is perfect; keeps the knees warm. Don't rely on it for support like knee wraps though. A tip for wearing it the first time; apply some talcum powder or lifting chalk to the inside of the sleeves and your legs; makes it so much easier to put it on.
