The baseplates for this (standard Bumper) fit ok as instructed to install but the safety hook tabs protruded too far for my taste. I've got a Mini baseplate for a Mini Cooper s, 2008 and a Mini Countryman Coopers s 2014. **Q: Will this work on a 02 wrangler TJ?** A: I sent mine back due to the motorhome mounting requirement so i wouldn't know. I do know that those base plates tend to work for all Wranglers but do your research first.
