We are a family of heartburn sufferers and have found that alkaline water is more palatable than tums for everyday use. We started finally using the water dispenser in our fridge and were disappointed to find samsung does not make an alkaline filter. I was skeptical at first since I have never heard of this brand especially as a chemist knowing how easy it would be for a company to lie but was very pleasantly surprised when I tested the pH to find it was in fact very alkaline. We have also had no issues with the filter leaking or not fitting right. It is now on subscription and we love it.

I am so happy I found a alkaline filter for my refrigerator . The water once you install it does tastes weird but after a while it tastes absolutely delicious and has no odor or taste. Already have my delivery set up for every five months.

As easy to install as the oem filter. No charcoal dust seen when flushing. Flushed about 2 gal. Some flavor started coming thru. Not bad if its beneficial. Somewhat akin to mineral water or light sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) flavor. I often add baking soda to water for heartburn.I dont have a ph meter but the TDS increased about 100 ppm witch tells me its defenitely adding something. I reserve the right to re-review in a few months.The only concern I have is build-up. As minerals are added they also get deposited. Hopefully my already P.O.S. samsung ice maker wont suffer from new issues.Since I have softened well water I like the idea of increasing ph. We'll see...

I try the filter before they switch to new presentation and was so so good taste , but now Is very notable the difference on tastenis weird flavor, honestly I don’t feel is same quality that I try before , and I noticed hard water drops on the dispenser , definitely I don’t will buy again

The mineral or filtration components inside the filter will come apart ,causing the water dispenser system to get clug ,as result of 2 filters ,I ended up replacing water pump solenoids and tubing on my samsung refrigerator.

This product was easy to install. The flavor however is not very good. It seems to have a fish like after taste. I sent an email to the seller to see if this has been an issue. Maybe a bad filter. They have not responsed yet. I had to buy a new filter since nobody will drink this one at my house.4/9/20- updateOriginal reveiw 1 star. 5 stars on customer service alone.Customer service reached out. I absolutely appreciate having an alkaline refrigerator filter. It is a healthier water drinking option for me as the water is not as acidic. It is compatible with my Samsung side-by-side refrigerator and easily installed. Having the filter in removed the taste of the municipal drinking water and gave it a refreshing clean taste. It is a bit more costlier than a regular filter but it is worth paying extra. It is definitely worth the value.

Definitely a higher pH than expected. After checking the so-called alkaline bottled waters and being very disappointed (literally an acid side of neutral level), the water coming out of these filters is basic, around 8-9. Will order again and use instead of the regular water filters we were using.

Would I buy again? No.After using 2/3 of the filters, I noticed a drip occurring in my water dispenser. After closer inspection, there is a large build up of minerals on the tip of the water line. This only occurred after trying out these water filters.The amount of headache to try and fix this issue is large. I may need to replace the whole water line in my fridge. I will need a tech to come out to assess so I don't damage anything.
