Unfortunately this Breville was purchased as “Like new, no scratches on scream with slightly damaged packaging”. Generally this has been a great way to save on some items but NOT for this Microwave! It had been double boxed and placed upside down in the second box resulting in a deep Dent on the upper right back corner. We decided it was too risky to keep an appliance that appeared to have been crushed which could have damaged the electronics and returned it for a full refund. However, this little Breville had all the features we were looking for so we purchased it from our Local Best Buy Store to avoid any mishaps! WE LOVE IT! It is so QUIET & easy to use with a gentle pull open & soft close door ! NO more loud clanging sound when you open or shut the door handle, just a gentle pull and as you push the door to close it literally closes itself, with a soft sound. We also turned off the end cycle and the child lock to completely take advantage of all of its gentle handling and Sound free features. It’s so quiet and easy to use it you know your food is ready when you hear a quiet click and read, “END”. The push button panel and dial are also a huge asset because you can add and take away seconds when cooking to make adjustments, especially for arthritic hands. Last but not least it is the perfect size for small kitchens, beautiful & does a fabulous job cooking🙏

The microwave fits perfectly in my apartment and leaves plenty of room on my counter thanks to it's compact size. When microwaving the unit doesn't emit much noise as compared to cheap models. The power adjustment is coinvent and I wasn't sure about the dial at first but have grown to like it in the past couple days.

Haven't had it long enough to speak to durability. That said, we declare this the best small microwave oven in history. 99 times out of 100, all we want to do is reheat a cup of coffee or warm up a plate of food. One quick twist of the dial and the time is set. Hit the go button. That's it. No more straining to see the numbers on a flat pad. The soft-close mechanism is a small miracle of technology. If you're tired of flat screens and squinting to set the cooking time, this is your answer. Nice looking appliance as well.

I read the reviews before buying this so I knew there was a high risk of this having a short life. I purchased it in August of 2025 and it’s now April 2026, didn’t make it a full year. I barely used it. Maybe once a week for 2 minutes. It still looks brand new. My microwave shut off while using it and went completely black. I unplugged it- the top part was very hot. (It did this once before but didn’t overheat and came back on) Chat says it’s now too dangerous to use even if it does end up turning back on. I’m super bummer because I loved this microwave. It’s small and fits on my counter and looks nice. The spin dial and auto lock on the door were my favorite features. People would compliment it. I hate ugly microwaves. If it lasted me at least a year, I’d consider replacing it but I will find something else

Quietest countertop microwave I've ever owned. Aesthetic design and solid construction. 900 watt power more than adequate. Soft-close door should be a standard for all appliances. Continuous dial control for setting cook time more convenient and accurate than keypad. Time and power level adjustable during cook cycle. Quick start power button let's you start or increase cook time 30 seconds with each push. Child safety lock can be disabled if not needed. When unpacking the unit, don't forget to remove the transparent tape securing the turntable spindle. They should use yellow or red or some other solid color tape instead.

You can barely hear it when it's working. The soft close is quiet and requires just a gentle tap to close. It's a bit small but big enough for a single person. It has a child lock feature but it's easy to deactivate it. The temperature control button is easy to figure out and use. My only complaint is that the interior is dark gray, making it harder to see food, despite the insight light bulb. I solved this problem by placing an off-white silicone liner on the carousel. It reflects the light well, making it easy to see the food. Highly recommend!

This seems to be a high quality small microwave that fits into a kitchen. It is attractive, slight retro, with clear displays and easy to work. The soft door close is a nice feature. It is easy to work, with the dial to set time. It works efficiently and quietly for a microwave oven.

I recently bought this microwave for my home. I really like the soft close door and ability to turn off all sounds. It’s easy to use and is well designed. Build quality is very high as you’d expect at this price point. Overall I’m very happy with it.

This microwave is actually attractive. I don’t have a shelf or an overhead area in my kitchen to put in the microwave so I put it on a wooden kitchen cart. You can turn the sound off on this microwave so it’s super quiet. It works perfectly. it’s unobtrusive and modern looking, anything I’ve ever bought from Breville is great

Breville microwave has the most intuitive/friendly and smart control panel (as it should be). I love it.

I order this mircrowave. Pluged it in. After 2 uses it start to smell like burning wires and it completely shut off. Talked to Amazon CS and they returned me a new one. I received it. Plug it in. Made porpcorn to test. Burned wires smell and shut off completely. The outside surface of the microwave is bburning hot. I don't know whats wrong with these microwaves. Full refund.
