We had to FLOC our pool and ever since that time, our clarity has been off. The pool would be clear until the bottom of the pool is disturbed and it would get cloudy. This Dolphin has immediately begun to pull not only stray leaves but all of those fine particles! Says it has a 3 year warranty so we’ll see what the longevity is but out the gate, I’m impressed! You can clearly see in the photos the path it’s made on the first few passes. Super happy right now. *********Update after a few days************ So the oversized leaf bag is the champ! It grabs EVERYTHING off the floor - sand, particulates, etc With that said, we did remove as much leaves and debris as possible with the net before running the machine. It’s great but don’t overload it. The ONLY negative I see so far is the wall climbing capability. We also own the Triton PS Plus, and that one will try to climb out of the pool. Only reason i bought the Premier is because some sensor went out and we didn’t have time to troubleshoot, get to a repair shop, etc. Pollen was literally falling from the trees! The Premier isn’t quite as strong but between the two of these, we should be very good. The leaves and sand are more important anyway because I can scrub the side of the pool with the brush. Review: Outstanding Customer Experience - The cleaner works really well. My ultimate joy with this product is after 2 years the power supply had quit working. The company website was easy to navigate and I put in a warranty claim (3 years!) and within a couple days I had received my new power unit. That kind of customer support is priceless. I will be a customer for life! Great job Dolphin!!! ### ⭐ DO NOT BUY-And Customer Service is Horrible *by E***S on June 3, 2026* What an expensive piece of junk. The movement pattern is horrible--my unit seems to love a small area (maybe 100 square feet) of the pool near the shallow end, and almost never goes anywhere else. So there are accumulations of sand, etc. on the bottom that it simply NEVER reaches, so I actually brush the stuff into the thing's favorite places, where it MIGHT be picked up. After watching the thing work, there is simply no turning programmed into it, so it just goes back and forth for the most part, and after it comes down from the walls, it tends to come straight out, so it tends to bounce between parallel walls. I've even put a weight on the cord to try to force it to work in the deep end, and guess what it did? immediately headed for its favorite spot in the shallow end and stayed there with the cord pulled tight, like a dog straining at its leash! To be fair, it does seem to actually pick up a little dirt IF it goes directly over it. I got through to customer service once, and like their useless FAQ, it tells you to make sure your pool chemistry is in order. Are you kidding? There is simply no way pH or Chlorine level, etc., is going to fix this problem. And I only got through to them once, when the unit was fairly new. The last few times I tried, they won't answer or, like the one time I actually out-waited them on hold, I got semi-intelligible Habib in Calcutta. He said "Hello, Maytronics xxyatriffcffeethff." (joking--he was completely unintelligible after two or three words). I asked him to repeat that and HE HUNG UP after I waited on hold for about an hour. Oh yeah, somewhere along the line they got the idea that I wasn't happy, and the company sent me a code for $50 off if I wanted to buy anything else from them. There's zero chance of that. I recently saw at my pool store a simple, rechargeable vacuum-type device that fits on the end of your cleaning pole for about $69. I think I'm just going to get that and forget the stupid robots.
