6911154 NAT Gas Water Heater Burner Assembly for Series 100

I used this part to replace the burner on my natural gas water heater because the burner plate had completely rusted/cracked off, and the door seal was burnt and melted away. This part did the job perfectly, and despite not being pictured with a compression fitting on the pilot light gas line, it did come with one and it was the correct fit for my water heater. Also came with a set of instructions for removing the old burner and installing the new burner. They were pretty clear and simple. This part also seems to be of slightly higher quality than the original part, because of the fiberglass insulation/seal (old one seemed to be rubber and melted/burnt) and I noticed the igniter wire was encased in a metal pipe whereas the original was just a bare wire and I'm not sure how it managed to hold up to the heat.Also noteworthy is how fast this part shipped. It came over a week ahead of schedule!

Was easy to install pictures on here help match the exact one i needed. Been using it for a few years now and its working great.

Works Great

On Amazon, this item shows a flared tube that can be inserted and then the screw tightens it all. There was no flare and there were creases on both sides of the tube that would have made it difficult to use a flare tube. We used a flare tool to try and do it ourselves but the tube was actually too short for the flare tool to work. We received the item in February 2022 but did not see the defect until we tried to install it in May. Too late to return it. There is no contact information on Amazon about this company, nor is there any information online. Waiting to see if a rep contacts us at some point.

It was a good guess....Got lucky this time with this seller....Fit fine and lit right up when installed. They do need to put betterinformation in the description of their products on Amazon.Cross-references etc.....

I had burner problems with my gas water heater. didn't want to buy a whole new heater if my gas valve and tank were still in good shape. Im not a plumber or water heater expert but thought i would try anyway. bought this for a good price and easy to install. Did my install about 2 days ago and so far it looks like this was my fix.

came in a good box, everything was what they said it would be, easy to install and worked from the start

This was supposed to have been direct replacement per part number for the tank I have, but it was for updated model with additional wiring to sensors. Problem is, it had no actual thermocouple. Had to go to store and purchase thermocouple. Just eliminated what I did not need and rebuilt with new thermocouple. Works great but if you are not mechanically inclined, I don't see very much success with this part. That is why I did not give it 5 stars. Outside dimensions are identical to original part.
