Precious Mugs Perma-coat Porcelain Kit

Purchased this set from our local Joann's. It was $11.99 and I had a 40% off coupon. The markers worked great, pplthough they are stinky. Mistakes on the mug cleaned up pretty easily with rubbing alcohol. I have no idea how they will hold up after being washed so I can't speak for that. Overall, I am really pleased with them. A fun affordable activity for my two preschoolers!

I echo the sentiments of the other reviews. The markers were dried out; overall, the product was low-quality and not worth the money.

We bought these mugs for our young kids to decorate and give to their grandparents as coffee mugs. I missed the small disclaimer on the underside of the box that says they are "for decorative purposes only; not for use with food." The markers are also toxic. While the kit is marketed for ages 3 and up (with supervision), the instructions inside the box warn to avoid contact with skin and clothing, and that the markers "may cause severe burns with extended contact."

I was super excited when I purchased this product. I got it so my son and I could make Fathers Day gifts for my husband. I let my son try to decorate his first, it took three tries to find a marker that wasn't completly dried out. Four of the six markers were totally dry. What a waste of money!

We got this at JoAnn Fabrics, and I got my son all excited to make one for Grandma for Valentine's Day. Same as the other poster...all our markers were completely dried out. Piece of crap, I would not recommend this to anyone!
