As described
My four year old granddaughter wanted this because we had returned to reading the Corduroy book. We debated getting the one pictured or the other one with the button missing from the strap (as in the book). She decided on this one because it has a pocket like in the second book in the series. The bear is her new "cuddling" plushie. The bear seems to be well made and is as described. Very cute!

Worth the Wait!
Corduroy was exactly what we wanted!! Super soft with a hide-a-way button for the missing button effect! My son waited for like 3 or 4 weeks but the product was exactly what he wanted!

Don't believe the rumors, he's a nice little bear.
No matter what, "Cordy" as I call him, spends all hours of the day sitting dutifully on his toy shelf. He has never once made a sound, nor has he ever strayed from his perch. You might say that Cordy has an air of self-righteousness. He's never been fond of ball, Buzz L*****year, Roomba, and the others who bounce, beep, and bloop around the room all day while Cordy just minds his own business staring blankly at the opposite wall. I'm not implying that Cordy is in any way dull. In fact, Cordy's lifeless eyes have stirred up rumors among the inhabitants of the toy chest that this innocent-looking little bear has motives deeper than his classic children's storybook charm implies. Just the other day, I entered the room after coming home from a picnic with Teddy Ruxpin to find Cordy sitting just slightly askew. When I reached up to adjust his seating position, I felt a sharp pain and blood immediately began to trickle down the far side of my hand. Turned out, Cordy was sitting on my ice pick. Weird. I could have sworn that I had put that thing back in the kitchen drawer just before I left. I don't care what Sherrif Woody says, there's no way a stuffed teddy bear could have made it all the way down to the kitchen and back with a steel ice pick. I mean, Cordy doesn't even have thumbs. Plus, those other toys have had it out for Cordy ever since I invited him to stay at my cabin in the Adirondacks last winter. I don't know what he did alone in the woods for three months, but when I came back to retrieve him in late March, there was something noticeably different about Cordy. His fur was matted, his stuffing had filled out and his eyes had lost their sparkle. Regardless, I don't appreciate those toys spreading unfounded rumors. And besides, I have a strange feeling that he's somehow looking out for me. With some minor modifications, he might be able to wield an ice pick after all.

Perfect Christmas Gift for Maverick
Just the perfect Christmas gift for my cousin's 9 and 3 quarters month old son(Which counts as a nephew). It's a bit smaller than my Corduroy that I always had for years, but it'll do. It's not the size, it's what's in it that matters. Big things come in small packages (literally)

Corduroy
I bought 2, for different children, within 2 weeks. The boys love them. Second one seemed smaller, with less filling in shoulder joints. The bear does not sit, as depicted in website picture. The bear seems a bit overpriced for what is, but I was looking for something similar to the one I have from the 80's. The other Corduroy choices were 7 inches, I believe.
