One of the better small and lite meters.
As an electronic technician by trade I have many meters for many purposes, from bulky high accuracy down to cute light pocket stuffable meters like this one. Because of its smallness, you do need to pay more attention to the knob selections, the green area being hard to read, and putting it in the "off" position when finished with its use. Checking with my resistance, voltage, and current references, the meter is amazingly accurate, well within its specifications. You can call me a "Multimeter Collector" but that is OK when you want versatile equipment, from cute low end to "over the top" high end, to do a good job. Another good small meter to search for is the DT830BT (Note the "T")

Nice unit and features for very little money!
This is a decent DVM for the little money that it costs. I've compared it to my expensive hp/Agilent/whatever DVM and it does okay. It certainly doesn't have 34401A accuracy, but that's not why you get this thing. You get it because it is small and fits in ANY toolbox, pack, computer case, or briefcase. It's the DVM you have with you when something goes wrong. I recommend that you get a small digital camera pouch to carry it in, but a pint ziplock works just fine, too.

Does the job, somewhat low-end, terrible battery
Other than having a different style shell, it appears to be the same thing as some generic Chinese models available for half. It looks like a shrunken cheap meter, not a shrunken good one.Looks aside, the use of a 23a alkaline battery is just awful. They are hard to find for a good price, and they self-discharge fast enough that you can't really keep one or two on hand for when you need a replacement because they will be mostly dead by then. These things used to be in car alarm remotes and I know people hated them because I sold the crummy things. The lithium coin cells used by a lot of other mini meters seem expensive, but they have a shelf life of 5-10 years so you can actually buy several for a good price and have them on hand when needed (plus the minor possibility that you might actually be able to use them for other devices as well). The removable leads seem like a good idea vs. the hard wired leads of other mini meters, but if you do need to replace them they are not standard lead plugs. Only this meter and the meters shipped from China I mentioned earlier use this, so don't think "if they break I can just use some of my spare leads from my junk box" because they don't fit.If none of that discourages you because you don't want to wait for a meter sent from China and you really want one which looks more like a shrunken real meter with plug-in leads and a vertical profile, there is an Amazon-branded meter of the same size for not a tone more which just generally looks better. The dimensions are a bit bigger because the case is more of a modern rounded design, but it's basically the same size. And it has that lovely 23a battery which I have failed to convince you should be a deal-breaker but you are somehow determined to think is good!

Handy and a great deal.
I love this meter and keep it handy on my work bench. Easy to use and accurate. This is the one I grab 96% of the time. So handy that I have purchased several to keep in various shops. A great deal.

Nice meter, but you will need a torch and a magnifying glass as well!
I bought it mainly for it's compactness and it's 20mv and 200mv ranges. It is nice and compact and these ranges work well. But some of the other ranges are printed in red and green, which on the grey meter case make them very difficult to read. If the manufacturers were to put that right, then this would get 5 stars instead of 4.

Great for carrying in small space.
Little and nice to have stashed in my motorcycle tool bag. Typical cheaper mfg you will see with the import testers, but who cares. These fit a specific task and do the job.

Failed after 30 Days.....
The voltage reading range quit working just after 30days. Hope they replace it??? Other: Display gets hot & quits working in bright sunlight. Can't read the colored writing around the selector switch. Makes it difficult to use. Need special lighting to read it.

Easy and affordable
Affordable and simple voltage meter. Wished it came with the gator clips too, but I guess I can always splice the cables for a more permanent connection.

Excellent and small!
I was looking for a very small multimeter and am thrilled with how small this is. It works great and is very portable.

Great product
We used it for my son science fair project. It was easy to use and came with clear instructions. And we also saw the instructions in YouTube to be clear about how to use it.
