Pretty Good
My nail clippers have been getting dull, so I decided a replacement was in order. I’d never heard of a nail clipper with a straight blade, but I’ve heard you should trim toenails straight across, so when I found this set for $4, I figured it was a harmless experiment. At first I thought the nail file on the back of the toenail trimmer would be useless, but it’s actually quite effective. My nails grow sort of up and out, so I like to file the edge down at an angle to spare my socks. I wish the separate nail file that’s included was of the same texture, that one doesn’t work especially well on my fingernails, it just makes them sort of fuzzy. The fingernail clipper didn’t seem quite as sharp (there was no click) but it still trimmed my nails so I guess it’s fine. The black paint is already chipping away on first use as others have mentioned. The tin is quite nice. Overall I’d say it’s not a bad deal for $4 — certainly not worse than your typical drug store clippers.

Nice product, but a little QC wouldn't hurt.
These are beautiful, if you appreciate precise machining and the black matte finish gives a classy look. Anodized, perhaps? Very sharp, and with a very solid feel to them. However, the filing surface on the underside of the operating lever of the smaller clippers was not well secured, and when I took them out of the fitted case, that surface fell out on top of my dresser. Fixed it with a tiny drop of super glue. The larger clippers are equally well crafted, but are curved like fingernail clippers. Most of my reading directs me to always use straight clippers on toes to help reduce problems with ingrown nails. If it hints at helping, I'll check it out; that's pain I'm anxious to avoid. The Seki Edge clippers I purchased via Amazon (not sure quite when, but I'll guess 3 years?) have been very helpful for that purpose.

Sharp
I like that they are sharp. Bought to cut cats nails and it gets the job done easier than the ones I used before

nice clippers for the price
These are nice looking clippers. I'm not sure I'm a fan of the blades being angled inward - makes it harder to see where you're cutting. But I guess it's cheaper to manufacture as I see that in many clippers. I bought these hoping they would be sharper than the cheap pair I bought at Walmart some time ago - and they are. But still not sharp enough, in my opinion. Maybe I should have spent a few more dollars and gotten a Japanese set - those are near razor sharp and require no effort to cut.

Cut through toe nails like a grinder
man can there boys cut, I have funky toe nails that cam break diamonds but boy, they didn't stand a chance for these cutters. My nails jave broken hundreds of other nail cutters and these didn't even make a whimper. All I heard was a sweet cut through these claws. One day I brought them to work and forgot my wire cutters, no fear these bad boys stripped and cut wires with a not a single problem, boy if you have jacked up talons these are the boys to quell that you got the tool. Good luck from Talon Toe

Awesome
My maine coon cat, during each shedding season always get large hair mats under her chest and belly. so this year I decided to not not torture her with scissors ( takes very long this way). Buying these clippers and tell you what, best decisions ever (she also thought so too). Thank you so much, I will recommend this to others. Thanks for everything.Jess

Great set of clippers
Very nice sharp clippers. Love that they come in a nice metal tin so you always know where they are. The built in nail file in the handle is nice too.
