The Holy Ghost, Our Greatest Friend: He Who Loves Us Best

This is an excellent, simple, yet profound work leading the reader to longer their relationship (or lack thereof) with the Holy Spirit. I love Fr O'Sullivan's straightforward style. Such clarity and simplicity brings the truth right to our hearts.

This profund book opened my eyes, my mind, my soul to Who and Where the Holy Ghost is. I highly recommend this book to all non-belivers and believers alike.

Easy reading. Reminder of how much Jesus loves

A deeply edifying read; it encouraged me to practice greater devotion to the Holy Spirit, and in mere days I have noticed a tremendous difference in my mood and state of mind. This reading and the subsequent inspiration to be determined and disciplined in prayer has granted me unbelievable insights upon reflection of scripture and prayer, all which I credit to the Holy Spirit. Easy to read, not too "wordy" straightforward, insightful... I encourage everyone to read this excellent and inspired book.

I highly recommend this book to people who is still not sure about the holy spirit. I love the book because it's easy to read, and understand and has some example events to picture. Thumbs up!Usually I would pray intentionally to The Father and The Son. But I'd be confused if I should pray to the holy spirit also (because 'if' he's in me then I'd be praying to myself! And that wouldn't be right?) This book answered my question well. Thanks!

This book with simplicity teaches such profound ideas namely love of the Holy Spirit, praying to him often by which we accomplished much greatness in our lives by word and action.

This was such a beautiful little book on the love of theHoly Spirit . I loved it and bought it for my children.

I never truly understood the Holy Ghost until I read this book. I now have a better understanding of the Third Person of the Holy Trinity.

Bought this book one day walking home from work about 15 years ago. As the book explains, the holy spirit is almost a neglected part of the trinity as when we pray it's easy to imagine the father and the son but it's harder to picture the holy spirit! I reflected thinking how true that was. Put the book down and began to pray to the holy spirit. All of a sudden I was consumed by the most intense joy I'd ever experienced. I literally jumped up in awe and praise of God, then the joy intensified more, I literally cried out to God, "this is too much joy, I can't handle this, take this away!" then the feeling began to fade. I sat back down a bit disoriented wondering what just happened. I picked the book back up and started to read, (now keep in mind what I just experienced) the next page stated an experience St Philip Neri had....St. Philip Neri, when once begging God to give him the Holy Ghost, saw a globe of fire which entered his mouth and passed into his breast. The heat that it caused was so great that he lay prostrate on the ground and tore open his habit. He felt a wondrous joy fill his soul. His heart was greatly enlarged, and two of his ribs remained broken so that his heart could beat without difficulty. He felt no pain, but when saying Mass or giving Holy Communion, his joy was so great that his whole body shook and made the altar shake. Sometimes he cried out, “I cannot bear such joy! Stop, Lord, or I shall die!”So that was mind blowing. I asked a spiritual director a few years later and apparently I had experienced baptism in the holy spirit. An amazing experience and I pray the prayers at the back of this book everyday now.

I found that this book brought me back to the time I prayed directly to The Holy Spirit. I hope I am going to pray to him in a meaningful way

Will recommend it to any one of Christian faith. A much deeper understanding of the Third Person in The Trinity.
