Tom's of Maine Prebiotic Moisturizing Natural Bar Soap, Soft Rose, 5 oz.

I'm sold. This is my soap from now on. I'm not out of my original lavender scented bar yet but I didn't want to be out of this or the liquid hand soap so I bought these early. Along with a coconut oil blend I made, this soap has cleared up my awful, painful psoriasis I've had for a year. I know it's mainly to do with changing to this soap, as the oil alone would not have done the trick. This combination has also helped the bad eczema on my face caused by my cpap mask. I also use burt's bees baby multipurpose ointment at night under the mask to help (thought I'd mention it in case it helps someone else) and that has kept it to a manageable minimum. I also have very painful, dry skin if I use anything unnatural and I live in the desert that doesn't help. My dermatologist told me to switch to all natural soap which I had done but I hadn't found the right one. I've gone through pine tar soaps and other all natural bars in my quest to help my skin and this soap is it. Lathers great, rinses clean, and my skin is finally free of pain.

I have combination skin. I don’t like using body wash due to environmental factors, plastic bottles etc etc. I’ve been using province de France soap for years, and I love it. But, it leaves my skin dry.Prebiotics are SUPER important for overall physical health and gut health. When I started looking for soaps, the fact this one contained prebiotics caught my eye.Y’all. This stuff is AMAZING.It smells wonderfully. It leaves my skin soft. I can use it on my toddler (not her face, of course, bc it’s still soap and burns her eyes) and it leaves her skin soft as well. Definitely will purchase again and again and again. I do hope that TOM’S will create some more fragrance options. I love the Apple and I’m sure the rose is delightful. However, I think my husband would like a more earthy fragrance.

Purchased the rose bud prebiotic bar soap, and the lavender prebiotic body wash. I felt the bar soap left my skin a little dry after, and the rose scent is ok, but won’t get that scent again. I like the body wash more, for it leaves my skin softer and I love the smell.

I have some hesitancy in writing this review. Since the Covid 19 virus, several of my usual products have become out of stock on Panama (a sign I have good taste?} On the other hand, when we find a product as excellent as Tom prebiotic soap, we should about it from the rooftops.To the man y companies who manufacture moisturizing soap, I thank you. I have probably used most of them. However, you will h ave to hustle to keep up with Tons probiotics moisturizing soap. Moisturizing soaps have felt smooth and creamy in the shower. About 10 minutes after the shower, my skin needed a slather of lotions. Not with Toms. I don 't want or need extra lotion. And the probiotics are making a difference in my skin in just 2 weeks. And here is the piece we resistance. My skin has been so vastly moisturized that I started wondering about my hair. Would the soap make a good cleanser for my hair? So I tried it. There is no lather, but that is ok. Lather is just hype.I did not use conditioner nor any other product. I let my hair air dry. I feels soft and smooth and looks full. I love it. Please don't order so much of it that it goes out of stock

After excessive use of sanitizing gel, my hands were dried out. Even using high-quality liquid soap didn't help but after one (!) use of Tom's Prebiotic Soap and my skin was already starting to heal. My hands also feel cleaner. The apple scent is spring-y and fresh. It's so potent that you can smell it through the box. I like it so much that I've already ordered the Rose scent.

This soap lathers well and leaves your skin feeling fresh. This is a new special line of soap that Tom's introduced, but at $5.99 for one bar of soap? I tried it and liked it. But it's not a good value especially when there are other soaps that perform just as good at the fraction of the price.

I’ve been using this product for about a year now, and have found it to be my family’s #1 bath product. I love the scent, and how clean and moisturized the skin feels after using it. It rinses away easily, and doesn’t strip your skin! It doesn’t make a residue in the shower basin like heavy body washes tend to do. It is packaged without plastic! It is fabulous on every level.

This bar is long lasting when allowed to dry between uses. It is very gentle on my terribly sensitive skin. The version of apple scent is a little odd, but not necessarily bad, somewhere between real apple and the fake scent used in most body products.
