First off wasn’t sure about a long range walkie-talkie but this one didn’t do so bad, my husband drove around the block and was able to communicate there were trees but did ok for that! Perfect for communicating with kids in the yard and keeping up with their whereabouts!

The sound quality wasn't so great battery was good. It was comfortable to wear.
