Make sure you cover every inch of each panel before Polish with that cloth. That applicator helps a lot but it’s not durable.

I have used this product before when my car was new. It is easy to apply and produces a brilliant and durable finish. I apply it twice a year before winter and in the spring. Makes the care easier to wash and keep clean. I understand you can now use HD wax on top of the coating if required.

I used the product on my new BMW 5 Series, and it gave an excellent finish. However, it is vital that you take the time to follow the instructions to the letter, and throughly clean and prepare your paintwork properly; otherwise you will be wasting your money. You will need to invest in a good quality car shampoo, sponges/extra microfibre cloths, and a clay bar kit to remove any tar, insects or other contamination from the vehicle surfaces prior to application. It's recommended to apply the product in an enclosed dust free environment, however as long as you pay proper attention to the weather forecast it's perfectly acceptable to apply outside. The key things to remember are to keep the car out of direct sunlight, and choose a day where the temperature is mild, with no threat of rain or strong winds for about 8 hours post treatment. I prepped two or three panels at a time with the preparation stuff, and then treated and polished 1 panel at a time (approx 75x75cm) before moving to the next area. Even in cold conditions, it doesn't need more thant 2 minutes to bond before buffing; any longer and you may struggle to clear it properly. And one final tip when applying the coating to the sponge - less is more!
