I read several reviews on this product one of the main mistakes is everyone is trying to use this for all kinds of makeup mistakes. I found out right away this pen is best when used as an EYELINER CORRECTION PEN, not for mascara mistakes. I noticed another complaint was trying to start the flow from the pen don't press it against your face use a paper towel. Press down for a couple of seconds that's it your good to go...I love the product

I have used up the three-pack of these pens, but now that I need to reorder, I am going to find another brand. They leave a lot of very oily residue on my skin and it is not easy to remove completely. Even wiping with a qtip doesn't get it off enough. Dipping a qtip in eye makeup remover and wiping the oil off works, but what's the point of having the pen? Just do that. The oil residue causes reapplication of eye liner or shadow difficult because the liner smears or requires several coats or the shadow looks darker. It is never a "quick" correction when you are in a hurry. Really a mess and frustrating. I do not recommend this product.

I really like this makeup remover pen. You can get to small spots without ruining your make up the way you might if you used a makeup remover pad. You can clean the pen's tip by dipping it in liquid make up remover. Should the pen dry out you can either pull the tip out and pour in a little make up remover, or dip the pen tip in makeup remover to get to a small spot that needs to be removed, I specially use it to clean up the eyeliner boo-boos. It's a great idea and they make good gifts.

This corrects and erases eyeliner and mascara smudges. Every time I apply eye makeup, the results are disastrous so YES, I use these makeup removal pens EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

My daughters do competitive dance and need stage makeup. I rarely use makeup myself and have a hard time putting it on wiggly kids. If you use a wipe to remove the make up it removes too much and then you need to start all over. Worse the remover leaves a residue that is hard to get rid of and makes it harder to put on a second time. This pen only removes the little smudge or line. It is a lifesaver! The tip does get dirty - I usually just wipe it on the back of my hand to get leftover eyeliner or lipstick off the tip while I am using it and later use a makeup wipe to clean it.

These might be okay for travel but if you're at home you're better off just using a q-tip with a dab of makeup remover. These don't remove makeup very well because the tip isn't well saturated with remover so it takes quite some effort and it leaves the tip black so you need to clean it off. Of course it remains discolored after the first use. The photo is how it looks after 2 uses. I don't even feel safe using it on fresh makeup when it looks like this.

These work wonders for when you make a small mistake after meticulously applying your makeup. Just beware that they remove ALL makeup -- not just the top layer (e.g., if you smudge mascara on your cheek, it will take off the mascara and foundation under it). Also, they dry out quickly so the three pack is helpful
