Amazing item
This is an amazing item. I love that you can shut off water to one line instead of the whole house. It's durable, comes with a key to turn water off and on. Comes with labels to label each water line.

Easy to Install
Product arrived as advertised with all parts included. I Installed Manabloc with the option to supply water using top inlets only. I needed to order the supply connectors for the supply inlet on top as instructed on Manabloc advertisement. I also needed to order the bottom supply cap as my example did not require this water inlet. My installation was a little tight due to where my PEX pipes were planned to go into the Attic and also staying at least 18" away from water heater as instruction indicated. First I placed the manabloc where I planned, Second I ran each of the hot and cold lines into the attic. Then I began to make the water supply connections into the Manabloc. I then made the multiple crimp connections to connect the attic supply PEX lines into the Manabloc. Once I completed all the Attic PEX line connections into the Manabloc I opened the water supply Cold and Hot lines into the Manabloc to test for leaks. I tested at this point for all connections made just into the Manabloc before doing any further work. I heard the Water filled Manabloc and confirmed that there were no leaks. While still in the garage area where the Manabloc was installed, I finally went through the connection of each of the Attic PEX lines into the Manbloc and then I finally spent the one full day in the Attic to make the 13 PEX connections to each of the copper lines going to each of the water fixtures. My plan was to cut off the copper existing lines before they go into the wall from the attic to fixture and solder crimp connections to allow me to crimp the PEX to each of the copper fixture lines. Once completed, I opened each of the water lines from the Manabloc one at a time and verified that there was no "water leaks" to the soldered/ Crimped connections. Complete installation took 3 days from start to finish. I would recommend this product. Very happy with final results.

good choice for upgrade.
redid all my plumbing with pex. this is a good upgrade compared to a standard manifold system, installation is easy. i like the individual shut off valves on each port.

I replumbed the place myself.
When we bought our property, the drains and vents were intact- but all the pipes had busted. This made it possible to replumb the entire house myself with pex.Yes. It really works. Yes. Its brilliant. Yes. It's really that simple.

Complete Crap
I'm never buying another Viega product. The product I'm reviewing is actually a replacement for the exact same manifold that I bought months ago. I couldn't return the original one, because I bought it too long ago and the "return window" had closed. I figured it would be easy to just replace the bad one with a new version of the same one, and they are cheaper than the Apollo manifolds. The problem is that they leak everywhere. Leaks on the individual lines can mostly be fixed by replacing the O-rings, but that's not really confidence inspiring. For whatever reason (manufacturing defect?) the hot side supply line always leaks. I thought I could fix this with Rectorseal. Nope. And the problem can't just be fixed by undoing stuff and trying again. Since it's connected to Pex you need to cut tubing, cut though crimp rings, replace tubing and rings with new stuff, etc.The hot side supply line also wants to get cross-threaded. I managed to avoid this, but you really have to watch out, because once you cross-thread plastic, you're done. If the hot side supply leak happened just once, I would say oops, not sure what the problem is. When it happens twice, I'm gonna say I'm dealing with crap manufacturing.I installed this in one of my rental properties because I was trying to save a little money. Bad mistake. Spend a few more dollars and go with Apollo. I have an Apollo manifold installed now and it's working like a champ.

super easy
so far im a couple weeks with this in use. works very good plumbing the whole house was easy ( we have crawl space ) every thing went quickly . love the fact that all the valves are in one place and its easy to get to . each and every faucet in my house has a separate water line one hot and one cold. so if there is a problem its easy to just shut off the one line. because i have a crawl space if a line ever gets a leak , say from a rat or critter i simply have to cut that line free and attach a new line to the old line and pull it through. NO crawling under the house. I wish they would include the inlet and out let ports . for the price i think they should have been included also they should have included caps to close off any unused ports. im pretty happy so far self installed no plumber needed. ill review again after one year service.
