good but not on E10 petrol - it melts it !!!!!
I used it in my petrol line on my classic car to be able to pump fuel to start up the engine. It worked fine the first time but squished fuel the next time.

Very slow to vent
The material was good, but I found that it was very slow to vent given the small diameter of the hose.

UNCONVENTIONAL SOLUTION
At 2 metres in over-all length it is just right to hook over the end stop area of one of my bungalow's roof gutters to drain it of recurring 2 litre pools of water until I can redo the whole length - which the previous owner had assembled too closely to the roof tiles' overhang for any easy adjustment to be made. Works a treat in conjunction with a washing machine's plastic outlet hose hook to keep it bent into the roof gutter. Well, I did state in the headline that I was using it as an 'unconventional' solution.Eamonn

Works well
Nice long hoses. Either pump by hand for faster transfer of liquid, or 1 or 2 pumps, and let it siphon.

Revised. Stopped working after 3 uses
Revised review:3rd time use and it no longer syphons water. Not even heavy usage, just maybe a litre each time at the most, but I don't think it was even that much.Whatever non return mechanism is inside the pumping bit has stopped working so, nothing happens anymore.Useless.Maybe it's just me being daft, but I assumed that once the water started to flow, it would do so until it ran out of the line was remov4d form the water. No, you have to keep pumping it.So have deducted a few stars for that.Other than that, it works well enough. Not a huge water flow with each pump, so if you have a lot to transfer from a to b, it will take a long time.

Does the job I wanted
This was bought to transfer diesel from a jerrycan into machinery and whilst it may not syphon as fast as some might prefer, its flow is steady without any additional pumping required like with other syphons. It's also better made than the previous ones I'd had. I am completely satisfied and will purchase this product again if I find myself needing another.

NOT high flow
This pump takes too long to fill, 25 ltrs takes 20 mins… for the money paid, there are better deals available!…
