Jesus also known as Jesus of Nazareth, was a 1st century Jewish teacher who is the central figure of Christianity, and is also an important figure in several other religions. He is also called Jesus Christ, where "Christ" is a title derived from the Greek, meaning the "Anointed One," which corresponds to the Hebrew-derived "Messiah". Christian views Jesus as the center on the belief that Jesus is the Messiah whose coming was promised in the Old Testament and that he was resurrected after his crucifixion. The son of Mary and Joseph, was born somewhere between 65 to 100 AD/CE. In Western Christianity, it has been traditionally celebrated on December 25 as Christmas. He was sentenced to be crucified by the crowd. Even Pilate himself found that He is not guilty at all. He died crucified and was risen from death at the third day and ascended to the heaven. He was great prophet and teacher. His teaching influences all religions.
