Excellent roasting tin. Really like the fixed handles. The rack is useful addition. Would have preferred it slightly larger. Expensive but if it lasts as long as my last one (15 years) I will be pleased.

Very pleased with this roaster - needed it for Christmas so it hasn't been used yet. The handles make it very easy to hold and it fits my oven perfectly. This is a replacement for an old roaster which has been in use for many years and I am very pleased with my purchase.

I tried out the roaster at the weekend and it comfortably took a full 6 kg turkey at 20 minutes per kilo plus an extra 30 minutes uncovered to crisp the skin. The turkey was placed in a cellophane roasting bag and I put streaky bacon strips on the outside of the turkey and a sprinkling of seasoning to assist in keeping the surface with a lovely bacon flavour . Before sealing the bag I put 400 mls. of water into the bag under the rack to keep the flesh moist. I also put a large onion inside the cavity and cooked the stuffing separately. The mixing of the flavours were delicious and by cutting a slit in the top of the bag the skin was browned after I had removed the browned bacon. Having the turkey on the rack it was easy to remove from the bag with two large carving forks and then placing it on a carving dish and covering it with foil to let it rest for 30 minutes. The flavours were delicious and due to the raised rack and using a roasting rack there was hardly any greasy residual juices as they stayed in the bag. The roasting tin and rack were much easier to use than another brand I have used and it can be used for other food items in the future so there is no mess. Weld one Jamie an excellent roasting pan.

The roasting dish never leaves roasted meat and veg stuck to the tray. Just awesome!

The Jamie Oliver Hard Anodised Roaster and Rack, H9029582 is a very good product but was a disappointment because in the description we read before purchasing the roaster we were told it was suitable for all cooktops, including induction, (for example making gravy on the cooktop whilst the roast is 'resting'). This proved not to be the case as it did not work on our new induction cooktop and, therefore, did not fulfill it's purpose. Sadly we will need to purchase another roaster.
