This unit is not cheap, but it is the best paper cutter I’ve used. And having worked in photography since the early 80s, I’ve used my fair share of paper cutters.

I bought this for my son who is a digital artist and sells his prints. He needed something more heavy duty than the plastic cutter from Michael’s crafts. This cutter is exceptionally well made. It’s solid (made of metal) and meticulously designed german engineering. Expensive but well worth the price. My son said the blade is very sharp and precise and that he is able to trim even the thinnest edges cleanly.

Dahle rotary cutter is absolutely the best!. I have used this a lot since its purchase. I use it heavily to cut out laminated tags. I learned a trick to make cutting way easier. I place two small rechargeable led flashlights, one at either end under the cutting head on the table below the cutter. It makes it crystal clear to illuminate the cutting edge through your material from below for precise cutting.

I am writing to express my concern regarding the performance of the device I recently purchased, as it appears to be consistently misaligned. Despite following the provided instructions and video demonstrations precisely for my 13x19 paper, the cuts are inaccurate, resulting in significant material waste and requiring manual intervention with scissors. Given that I invested in this equipment for its professional capabilities, I have been disappointed to find that it fails to produce consistent results even after minimal use. Could you please advise whether the unit I received is defective or if there is a known adjustment required to resolve these ongoing alignment issues?

Absolutely love the cutter. Had a smaller one, different brand, that broke and replaced with this one and couldn't be happier.

Most things about the unit are great. However, the 90 degree helper bar that came with my unit doesn't hold true 90 degrees. No matter what I do with it, it always drifts inward slightly. I tried to take a picture of it to illustrate. Notice how the helper is closer to the line at the end than it is near its base

I've been using this thing almost daily for 3 years straight now. It works just as good as it did the day I bought it. Well worth the money. Buy nice or buy twice, friends.

What an amazing piece of kit well built and extremely well packaged expensive but with a five year guarantee I’m happy to have that included with this great item and hope for many years of use

As a mixed media artist I tend to build my work onto the paper thus often leading to warping or using heavy gsm papers. This trimmer has made light work of cutting through all of it. Which is very impressive as many others have failed. I find that I can get 100% accuracy in finding where I want to cut and a straight cut every time. Also with the double rotary bar the gig feels solid and does not wobble unlike other single bar trimmers! I couldn’t be happier with this paper trimmer and I would recommend it thoroughly!
