The replacement key fob arrived way before I expected it and everything was in the kit that I needed to use it as a replacement for my old broken kept. It fixes it better than new with a little plastic sleeve that fits over the key to remove any "play" from the metal part of the key. There is a knew longer screw that goes through everything and it feels, looks and works like a new key.

I was expecting a little more difficulty with assembly after reading reviews. The screw holes are slightly off. I screwed the screw in the bottom plate before assembling to “prime” it. Assembly was easy, the pieces are difficult to snap together with key fob in. I ended up biting down with my teeth and it snapped together, not recommended but it worked for me. The transponder chip must be in the key fob because the car starts and keeps running, so I didn’t have to dig into the old shell to get it out. I have 2013 Honda Civic EX.Very satisfied with this product. $7 instead of a $150, AWESOME!!!

Great item for its priceIt took me no more than fiveMinutes to change the key fobI did not had to program the key since i used the same key and fob. Remember to change the chip inside the old fob to the new fob is in side a little plastic compartment need to be really careful not to damaged it when breaking the plastic. The chip is black.

Feels solid , make sure you line up key in the adapter the correct way... Saw some people complain about it not fitting, It has to be put on the correct way and the key with adapter has to be placed into the case correctly to.t There is a slight angle to one side of the key adapter and the case has a corresponding angle to go in so that it fits correctly.

This saved me over $100Thank you and thanks to youtube I saved a ton of money, I must have sat on my key and busted it, and the dealership would have charged me a ton, this little kit was very easy and it fixed my Pilot key. Hurray for the internet

Written by Justin’s wife, Sherri.Perfect replacement key fob case that saved my husband and I between $180.00-$400.00 dealership replacement. I found this product and fixed both keys to my husband’s car. If you have a key that has already been cut for your car and the electronics have already been programmed for your locks, all you have to do is remove the electronics inside the key fob and carefully clean them with a q-tip and isopropyl alcohol, then change them out to this case along with the key blade.I would recommend also buying a silicone outer skin to cover the key fob to protect this case from accidental drops and breakage.

Arrived the next day in perfect condition. Bought another one previously from another seller, but it never fit properly. This one fit perfectly and seems solid.

Wish I had found this before I paid $200 to get a new one made at the dealership. Took all of 5 minutes to switch the housing out and now my key looks brand new. Best 5 bucks I ever spent.
