Better than original
Fits perfectly and had a better coupling than OEM part. One would think the engineers that designed the pellet grill would use a sheer pin to fail first before the gears stripped out. This replacement motor uses a hair pin instead of a hardened screw. I would recommend using perhaps a Bobby pin or 3/32 inch brass rod.

Works well, but do this.
The reason these motors usually go bad is due to a jammed auger. So if you don’t unjam your auger, you’ll be very unhappy you wasted your time and money when your new motor strips it’s gears too.Remove to screws controller push controller back through rectangle hole, so you don’t have to disconnect any wires. Remove all pellets from hopper.Remove pellet hopper box 4 screws (2 front 2 back.)Once you remove the bolt that penetrates the motor and auger shaft. Remove the screw that holds in white auger bushing. Then use a pair of pliers to twist out auger from auger tube. Careful don’t damage auger motor shaft connector. Bushing will come out too. Then clean out all the debris inside auger tube all the way to fire pot. Use air compressor and vacuum to assist. Then put auger back in, and test spin. It should spin very easy once back in tube.Reinstall white bushing and retainer screw. Then attach new auger motor. New one comes with a clip instead of a bolt for easier installation. Then reverse these disassembly and put everything back in opposite order you took apart. Make sure fuse is good on controller. You’ll have to recharge auger. Put a small amount in auger pit and throw a large handful on top of igniter in fire pot.Start on smoke and watch auger turn in fire pot opening. You may have to add more pellets to fire pot, while waiting for auger to charge. Fire should ignite longer auger tubes lake a while to charge. The controller will stop feeding pellets after five minutes if the fire is not lit. So turning off and back to smoke will reset the igniter sequence. When auger is charged you’ll see pellets dropping into fire pot. When you maintain your fire pot, clean out your auger tube too. Blow it out with compressed air from fire pot end, while hopper is empty. It will prevent sawdust jams that kill auger motors.

Getting what you pay for but great Customer service...
Appearance and shipping was fine. This is not an American-made product but at 1/3 the cost, I’m willing to give it a try. Will update if things change but for the moment, it works right out of the box and the install is simple...Updating - dead after 2nd cook. You definitely get what you pay for! Past the return window so I'll have to buy a new one somewhere else I guess...Updating further - this is very big to me! After the quick death of my first motor, I reached out to the manufacturer. Did not expect anything but within a day or two I received an email back with an immediate offer to send me a new motor - no questions asked, other than my address. Still somewhat skeptical, I gave them my shipping address and three days later a new motor showed up. It's brand-new and sealed in the box. Have to say I'm very impressed with this service! Initial review was a 4, dropped to a 1 after it failed, now back to a 4 . Ding'd 1 star because it DID fail, but the service was excellent! Good job guys...

A good replacement for a broken part.
Those of you with wood pellet smoker/grills, know that the wood pellet fuel for your cooker is advanced via a corkscrew type auger from the wood pellet resevoir to the burning chamber. The auger shaft is connect to a small electric motor, which screws the auger foreward to advance the wood. Sometimes the wood can be jammed, especially when a lot of "saw"dust flakes of the wood pellets and clogs tube through which the auger turns. This can put stress on the motor and all of the connecting parts. The auger shaft slips over the motor spindle with both containing perpendicular matching holes through which a small securing screw can be inserted, which in turn is secured by a small matching nut. My system failed (after a few years) when that securing screw snapped off. This new motor works very well for my purposes, and I can recommend it. Nevertheless, I removed one star because the securing screw and nut combination appears to me to be relatively thin and fragile. I could be wrong. Only time will tell how robust it is, but currently everything work very well.

This part seems to be good quality and definitely fits.
This part fit my expert grill brand pellet grill. It was a little difficult to replace the part, but, that has nothing to do with the part itself and more to do with the brand grill.

It works like new in my Traeger Pro Elite
I was a little discouraged-at first-in disassembly. Youtube walks you through how to do it. I'm so glad I had the small amount of patience to get this done. Super happy at the results. The smoker holds temp around 20 degrees cooler than the module states. I haven't replaced the temp module. As long as I know what the temp is, this part doesn't need to be replaced, yet.
